I can’t believe the Mini showroom has closed. If BMW can’t survive what’s the hope of anyone. Especially with the amount of homeless there atm.

@rizmahd I know the BMW showroom is very busy, they also did motorbikes. Unless something top end exclusive opens, can't see any business surviving too long.

Yes my brother I’ve been in Eastham since 1997 everything is a stone throw away they used to have some really good shops down this high street Ravel,M&S k shoes,Dune&co,Daisy,BHS,Woolworth,Robins and so much more now its a DUMP I know 3 people including me we had our phones pickpocketed its all Eastern Europeans they’ve got nothing else better to do than to stand around looking for a target to pick on Standing around a bin eating pumpkin seeds and doing F-k All yes exactly nothing but betting shops its a Sh-t Hole.

@Caspar563 I loved living in East Ham, and as you said, everything was on my doorstep, probably would've never moved if the schooling was better. You're exactly right on what you say about East Ham. It was great for shopping, Remember when Mr Byrite opened 😂, Ravel and Dolcis were my go to for shoes. Now it's a real dump. Nothing, except cheap shops and the whole area looked dirty. I was surprised there weren't many Eastern Europeans on the High St, but there were afew groups hanging down the side roads. Beggers and Bookies go hand in hand. Thanks for the comment, brother.

@Roamingree
@Roamingree 18 күн бұрын
@Caspar563 Yes, I remember all the shops u mentioned, even the small pioneer market now, the big pioneer point building. The shopping was so good, hence ilford was known as the West End of the East End. It's just cheap shops now. Ilford Lane has grown, whereas East Ham has declined, badly.

@timfish4175 The A406 runs through my old schools football fields. Then the hotel was built with MFI retail park. All that's gone, more flats afraid. I loved C&A, growing up, it was like having a West End style store locally. The building, location and style were iconic 😂

KZbin put your video on my feed, so first time watching your video. Great video man. Unfortunately I live in around the area and I can relate to everything you saying! For the last 10-15yrs people have always been saying what a s***hole it is. Not only do people horn for no reason, but they also laugh in your face if you have a flat tyre. It’s the area full of low-class, from all the “cheap” properties, to low-class, drugged up, non-educated people on benefits. Plus, as you mentioned all the betting shops and cheap shops. Imagine all of that concentrated area! Hmm, “divide and conquer” maybe? Surely LA’s are aware of the situation🤔
