My best 10 minutes and my worst ten minutes happened at the same time. I was called up on the carpet for talking about God to my Medicaid waiver clients. The director and auditor were telling me all the things that could happen to me, I could get fired and may never work for the state or any state again. I could be even charged with a crime. As I walked from the directors office toward the outer hall. I was telling God, I told you this would happen. I thought my life is over. Fours years of going to school at night to get my degree. Driving back and forth, 50 miles one way. All the testing to get a state job, etc. all a waste of time and a new baby and a first house payment. I was so depressed, not a single thought of hope. I stepped across the threshold of the door to the outer hall and this came to my mind. My good and faithful servant, I will lift you up that I might be lifted up and in that 1/4 of a second my disposition was changed against my will. I felt more joy in that 1/4 of a second, so much that it liked to have knocked off my feet, I had to grab the door threshold to keep from falling down. As I swung into to the hall, I asked how are you going to do this? With no response I continued as normal the next week. Word came down that I was the case manager of the year for the state and a banquet would be held to give me the award with the highest state officials

Warning believers, Max Lucado is a false teacher who is on TBN, a heretical network that doesn't preach the Gospel, but rather just wants your money. We are all sinners who deserve to die and go to the lake of fire (Romans 3:23, Revelation 20:15), because God is holy and righteous, and He hates sin with perfect, unmatchable hatred. But in His love, God sent Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, to earth to live a perfect life we can't live and, despite His innocence and our guiltiness, He voluntarily died the painful death we deserved on the cross, paying the price for our sins, and then raising from the dead (Romans 5:8 and 1 Corinthians 15:3-4). If we confess our sins to God, turn away from them with His help, accept, trust, and commit ourselves to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, surrendering everything to Him, then, only by God's grace will you be saved for eternity and enter into a relationship with God, serving Him and sharing the Gospel with others with His help for the rest of life (1 John 1:8-10, Luke 9:23-26, Ephesians 2:8-10, Matthew 28:18-20, and Acts 1:8). That is the true Gospel, not the money, prosperity heresy on TBN, remember Ephesians 5:11: "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them". Max Lucado isn't just involved on TBN, he also teaches that baptism is required for salvation (which is violates Luke 23:39-43 where the unbaptized thief on the cross was promised paradise with Jesus), and also promotes ecumenism, which is the unity of all "denominations" (INCLUDING FALSE RELIGIONS LIKE JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES, MORMONISM, AND OTHER HERETICAL "CHRISTIAN" GROUPS).and 2 John 1:9-11: "Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work". With that being said, avoid Max Lucado and have nothing to do with him, his works, or his false teachings. You can also pray to God about this if you are saved, and wait for His response, if you aren't saved, confess your sins to God, ask for His forgiveness and for Him to turn you away from them and to Him, submit and surrender every single part (even the ones hard to give up, but ask Him to help and He will) of your life to Him, and commit the rest of your life to following Him, reading, meditating on, and applying His Word (the Bible) to your life daily, and sharing the Gospel with those around you all with the help and through the power of the Holy Spirit regardless of the cost, even if it means death.
