What I like is that it feels like I could reasonably get there without a car. Hisayama's Costco is just in an inconvenient spot unless you have a car, which we don't have yet. According to the maps, it's just about a 10 minute walk or so from Imaguma station. No bus, just a transfer on either JR or Nishitetsu. Not like I can buy a ton of stuff necessarily, but I like having the access. If anything, I just like the food court too. Haha

Pork in Costco Japan is from Canada?!? And here I am, a Canadian, going to Japan and swooning over Kirishima's kurobota shabu-shabu. Nick, is it possible to find out what kind of pork and which Canadian supplier they got it from? As a side note, just came back from a girls' trip in Osaka and Kyoto and we made sure we made it to a Costco in Osaka. The one in Kadoma is beside an outlet mall which was awesome! With shuttle bus (for the outlet mall) from Namba and Shinsaibashi too! We got to try the following Costco food: chicken sticks with frieds, pepperoni pizza, hotdog and the berry smoothie. Ordered the roast pork sandwich too and it was HUGE but cold, which was odd to me. Thanks for this video, Nick and Emiko.
