Can you hear the underwater environment through the live drone feed? Like with earphones from your phone/tablet I guess. It would mostly be motor whine when travelling but still cool if you could stop, drift and listen to whales sometimes.

@@Darrylx444 That would be cool 😎! But No, there is no underwater Mic on the ROVs. I have mounted a GoPro on one. But like you said. It's mostly motor audio.

its the same as far as the feed goes. I'm not of fan of the E-GO set up tho. its a fisheye lens. you have to do extra work in post to fix it. If you asked me today.. Id buy the EVO..Better camera options, less battery life, But after an hour Im done diving anyway. But I'm sure they will come out with a new product soon. So its gonna change.

Hi Curtis, according to the manual it looks like you should be able to stream to facebook or youtube from your phone using the app. But looking at comment below I see you have more of a set up! Do you think the manual instructions are a red herring? Do I need to get a HDMI box ? Just keeps telling me it can't connect!

My setup is because I wanted to Live stream from both ROV's at the same time.. So I'm feeding both signals into the YOBOX and going live from the Yolobox. To be honest, Ive only used the Qysea app to go live once, and that was when I first got it. But I knew I wanted to do more, which is why I got the Yolobox.. That said.. you should be able to go live from the app.

With the fifish e-go, I did see lots of the white particles when you were going up and down and side to side. With the chasing m2 pro max, I notice very little white particles on the way to the airplane. The image looks clear compared to the fifish e-go when it got to the airplane. I did see those white floating particles, but the led lights are very strong.

Very nice video I'm not sure which ROV I should buy, the EVO or the Expert. The Evo has the smaller battery and less attachable accessories but the camera is slightly better. But the Expert is really cool. What would you recommend?

Depends on what you plan on using it for. If you're doing marine science the Expert is the way to go. If you want cool video and just pick up stuff off the bottom get the EVO .

Hi Curtis: thanks for your help with Fifish V6 tips. I’ve got a problem: I am recording underwater videos for a fishing book I am writing. I need top leave my Fifish V6 resting on the bottom so I can record falen n of baits and, if posible, real baites of fish. I am working on still rivers and lakes, not in the sea. The problem is that, when I arrive to the bottom, I need to stop engines: otherwhise their movement cause a lot of debros from the bottom. But, the main problem is that when I turn power on againg, it always move in a strange mood. Is there any adjustment in the preferences to restart the submarine without causing any movemnt of its body? I would be very thankfull for your help

When you unlock the ROV motors, it does a quick calibration. thats what the spinning and twisting is all about. This is a good thing, except in your case. There is not really a setting in the app to turn that off. I would also advise not resting on the bottom. When you do start the motors, the sediment is sucked up thru the props. risking damage to the props or even worse the motors. Have you considered using the ROV to place maybe a gopro on the bottom ?

Thanks a lot again, Curtis. I have been using go pro atentamente the top and the last DJI action camera. The problem is that, sometimes one need to stay waiting for one or two hours: fifish gives you this time, no the other ones. My last idea is to prepare a type of platform with 8 to te10 soft lona nd with strings. What do you think? Just another quick questio: i have never used the virtual glasses or whatever it is. Is it just to choose them in the App, put the telephone inside and use them? I suppose you can go down, up left and right, isn’t it? Sorry but I can’t find good tutorials on this@@CurtisDart

@@paquitochocolatero6880 I haven't used the glasses either, but I do see a setting on the app to use them. So yes plug in the glasses and set it up on the app . As far as GoPro power. You can get external battery packs for longer life. But you would need to build a water proof housing for it . Unique challenge you have there. So it's gonna require a bit of out of the box thinking to resolve it.

I live in the Pacific Northwest. Our water is green, So I kept the color as is. Color is gonna depend on where yer diving. But setting white balance and exposure in the app will help with color correction in post.

I wouldn't say there is an advantage, and its not part of any recommendations from Qysea. But I don't see a disadvantage either. I will say I've been doing this for 4 years now, and only had one motor fail using my technique. And out of 4 ROV's that's not bad.
