Thanks for a great video! As an artist, I hate dealing with anything that has to do with legality of work and contracts. You helped me to understand that it's inevitable if I want my career to become successful, more knowledge in freelance would be only beneficial. If you happen to have some more knowledge about "business side" of being an artist, I would love to watch these videos from you!

thank you! yeah im gonna make more content about it, but honestly my best advice is if theres any part of your business you dont like doing, just find and see if you can afford to outsource that part of your business to somebody local. for example, i hate doing taxes, so i pay yearly for an accountant, and with the time i save doing it myself i can spend that time trying to do more work that ends up paying what the accountant costs - so the accountant kinda pays for himself haha. thank you anyway ill try cover more stuff like this in the future :)

Very great knowledge! This is something that should get talked about more often and get others to really broaden your options in the industry if you are serious. It is worth look into as a designer, and doing your homework to try and understand it all and better utilize your work. Appreciate you for sharing!!

there is one for mac called hex fiend that i think does the same thing! but i'd recommend checking if its safe etc to use and install first :)

if at the threshold stage there's no lines how do i adjust it to make them appear?

Hello! Use the threshold adjustment that appears! If that doesn’t do anything, it means you might be in a colour mode where adobe has disabled filter gallery. Check your document settings and make sure you’re in RGB 8-bit mode

Fantastic plugin. I'm super excited to use this. Top tip on your exports though... aim for 1440p and a 25Mb MINIMUM CBR for the best upload quality to youtube (thats your low res version) and for your right version just use Quicktime ProRes 422. No need to use the slider as ProRes essentially renders like a bitmap with minimal compression

It worked out for a time but now I got 5 errors messages after saving my .psd file and I end up with just a threshold render. I tried to delete and reload the action program but it doesn't work and I don't know where I messed this up.

Put a duplicate of the original image on top of everything and change the blend mode to “color” or “hue” :)

I haven’t used affinity but if affinity has colour fill, displacement and a way to generate the lines you can definitely get this effect going! I might add the lines JPGs to the download files
