Think a bin they use in restaurants for the dishes would have been a good resource to have in this particular instance?? No? Why wouldn't you want you to mark the exact spot if it's available.

Another easy money for mr. DA. I have i feeling he is a little bit disappointed when the case is solved after a quick inspection and the deblockage procedure is already planned in his mind. In this type of cases he is more serious and get right up to task. For instance, in the case of the super blockage in that huge facility where he had to wear a hazmat suit to work he was trowing jokes and laughing all the time. The old man loves the challenge. What a legend!

I live in a little town in the Midwest surrounded by hundreds and hundreds of acres of corn and soybean. Sweet corn, yellow corn, corn stands, gardens with corn. Nothing but corn and soybeans. Not once when the streets have flooded, nor when the city flushes the sewer system have I ever seen a kernel of corn. When my drains plugged up, not a single kernel of corn. Y'all must really love corn!

Anybody noticed that invert with the three pipes coming in one leaving originally wasn't there. You can tell that clay pipe used to run right under the ground there then they added more stuff to that property and cut in that invert which for being made by hand looks pretty good.

I see you have some big Florida sized waterbugs. They'll call them water bugs instead of cock-roaches sometimes. No one wants to admit having cockroaches two inches long but if you live in Florida you have cockroaches.

I was going to say how sad it was to see baby rat getting a face full of drain porridge, but it’s been overshadowed by the demise of root cutter. Those traps sound like a really bad design as well, sounds like someone pinching pennies instead of considering how difficult it’d make your job

What is interesting is those jetter attachments act as a jet propulsion device that relatively self-propels the various heads through the blockages and the pipes. I was used to the Electric Eel steel cable ones with auto-feed, but the water jet system is much more efficient and lighter to move around. You need a pressure pump with the water jetter of course and that is why most hardware stores, for consumer one-time use, still have the steel cable drum type. But for professionals like Ollie who do this for a living, you cannot beat the water jetter. I am an electronic engineer myself, but also enjoy plumbing and electrical work for homes as it is a useful skill for do-it-yourselfers. I have really enjoyed the videos as something is satisfying when the drain flows again and the good-natured positive attitude of Ollie and his fun quips with the classic "blocked drain", "it's chockers", "toilet paper flush test", "all good!", crawling into crawl spaces, "Let's go hunting", cutting holes in toilets for access, transversing jungle-like terrain, toy rats, cockroaches, and corn, as well as genuine care and respect of people he runs into on the job, bringing the kids along on the job from time to time, respect for nature and I suspect his faith In Jesus Christ all contribute to making a person a good person in life who is satisfied with family and his work. That is called being rich in this life! Many Blessings always to you Ollie and the family, as I really have enjoyed looking at Australia from a United States viewer also! Someday I would like to visit the country! ✝☮🐀🕳🪠

I am wondering if the high pressure from your nozzle causes vibrations in the ground and piping that the cockroaches can sense and causes them to panic?
