Hey! I know this is years later that I am watching this video! But, I can't agree more... Manic panic fades sooooooo fast! And yesssss! Splat was so good to me!!!! OMG I couldn't agree more with Arctic fox!!!!! Yessss!

I was a hairdresser at Aveda and the shade that my coworkers would give me for using splat...LOL. Here's the thing with splat- some people don't want the color to come out, myself included. Permanent hair color that actually stays in your hair??!! what a concept, I know. I would totally recommend splat for people who are dedicated to a certain color. You can mix the dyes for a more custom look and it's nice because what you see is basically what you get. Also, you don't HAVE to bleach the crap out of your hair if you don't want to. Splat covers up ' kind of ' bleached hair nicely as well as light virgin hair. Just make sure that's the color you want lol. Also I ALWAYS leave 'fashion' colors in overnight. There's no developer in them so they won't damage your hair.

I just did arctic fox, it was on for an hour. It didn’t come out purple, it came out pink. And after 1 wash, the blonde is already coming through. Not impressed.

It only depends on how frequently you wash your hair or something? Idk. I dyed my yesterday and so far i haven't washed my hair.

I dyed my hair red with splat back in april and i haven't had to touch it up since. what i do to keep it vivid for months is wash it with cold water every time i take a shower until the dye stops bleeding, then i do whatever i want and it wont budge!

The color molecules in splat rise out fast, but some stay behind and when you rebl3ach ut they reactivate And that's why us hairstylists highly reccomend using anything but splat. Plus. The bleach is 40 volume and literally fries your hair

I used some 30-wash splat dye (ocean ombre to be specific), and it washed out and washed out and kept on washing out until it settled at a "dead teal-white" as I called it. Very ugly (tho my brother said it looked good once). I recently used Arctic Fox (aquamarine), and I've only washed it once so far. It has faded a shade or two, but based on what I've heard in this video, it should settle with a much more vivid color. Unfortunately, I absolutely HAVE to use conditioner. My hair is thick and course and is impossible to brush without conditioner. Also, my shampoo and conditioner smell really nice together, so I'd keep using it anyway.

Will the arctic fox dye over dark hair do you have to bleach I have black hair are really dark brown hair and I was wanting to put a blue hair dye on top of it, I know there is some dark to color hair dyes without bleaching but wondering how well they work

I would love to use arctic fox! But what do you use for bleach? Splat comes with bleach, so I’ve been stuck using that. Lol

So when it comes to long lasting, can you please rate them or give a name for the best among all of these please ? :) I have only had parvana in my hair and I think it lasts a very long time and even when it washes off it leaves a pretty fade color. Anyway, do let me know ^-^

Also, did you rate Parvana a 7 because of its unavailability or because it's not that good or long-lasting. I am asking repeatedly about Parvana only because I am thinking of redying my hair and I am wondering if Parvana is good enough or should I switch. Will be thankful for your response <3

people of the internet, i have dirty blonde hair and i love dying my hair, but i don’t know any super long lasting dyes, id like to do like a dark pink, any suggestions?

noa pierce some brands should do fine without bleach on your hair. These are the ones I found are vegan and have good dark pink shades. Color conditioner, Manic Panic, Arctic Fox. Here are some tips to make it last longer Washes hair with cold water, if you still like hot showers, by a shower cap, put your hair in a bun, put the hair in the shower cap. and you can have long hot showers, and wash your hair in the sink with cold water. Wash it less, I say every once-twice a week a most, get some dry shampoo and conditioner, to help maintain greasy hair if you get greasy hair easily. Put the hair dye in the conditioner so you can keep adding it to your hair. When styling use heat protect spray so the color isn’t very damaging from the heat. Its completely fine to leave the hair dye in when doing it yourself, completely safe and is known to make the color last longer.

I used purple from arctic fox and it was completely gone in like 2 weeks. I know different dyes work for different people but that's just my experience 💜 splat for the win

Lovely video content! Excuse me for chiming in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you thought about - Millawdon Goodbye Gray Trick (just google it)? It is a great one of a kind product for learning how to reverse gray hair fast minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my close friend Aubrey got cool success with it.

About 8 years ago I used splat and it ruined my hair I do NOT recommend.. BUT now I’ve been using (and I recommend) manic panic for about a year now and I used “vampire red” and it was great, it was long lasting, my hair wasn’t damaged after and I actually had a hair dresser say the color looked good and I didn’t tell her but that was about 2 months after dying it.. also note my hair is a really dark brown and I didn’t bleach my hair at all

My hair is half black and half blue and I have 2 questions 1) What do you suggest the most for the black part 2) Is your hair naturally oily or dry? Because mine produced a lot of oil and I’ve had horrible experiences with splat
