Finally, after 31 years I get to hear this again. Ok, the film wasn’t brilliant, but it was a bit of silly escapism and this closing theme hit you full in the face in the cinema. I sat until the very end.

Sid did a lot of character parts in straight films, such as The Small Backroom, The Last Holiday, I Was Montys Double, Seagulls over Sorrento. He was good in Too Many Crooks as well! Another scene with a hearse

Honestly, the ending of this movie always gets to me, when then present day Barbara Windsor meets up with the ghost of Kenneth Williams and they discuss those who have passed away and died. It’s even more heartbreaking now that we have lost Barbara.

Don't know if it is just me but most of these locations look so much nicer as they were. So many of them just seem to have been ruined by the changes over the last 50 years. It is lovely to be able to step back in time when watching the Carry On films.

never been a REAL carry on fan but THIS one, this one really has a creepyness to. Also, and i don't know about you, but when a reclining Fenella starts smoking on the couch and holds her arms out to Harry H. Corbett, a very powerfully built man, i can feel a GENUINE sexual "frissance" (ohh la la...cultural editor)between them. He was, after all "tryin' to give it up"!!!!. Other highlights, Ken Williams screaming when fenella ELECTROCUTES him to wake him up early after the regenerated Oddbod junior appears on the stairs!. Credit too to the the uncredited SCREAMER woman in the title song!
