This is a true story about Leslie Phillips Michael Winner was working as a reporter for a small paper in I think Hackney he was sent to the film set of Pool Of London a film made in 1951. He asked all the stars for an interview not one would agree except Leslie Phillips. Years later Leslie went for a part in one of Mr Winners films Mr Winner asked Leslie do you remember me ? yes you interviewed me once when I was making the film Pool Of London. I will leave it to you to decide if you think Mr Winner gave Leslie the part.
