Wheelbase, overall length and width says it is a C segment sized car. Note also the 1.5turbocharged engine makes it as powerful as most C segment cars on the road today . The BMA chassis is another one of those super modular modern chassis that can easily scale up or down. Even Toyota's TNGA C and B variants have a wheelbase that crosses over each other so its about other small factors. But wait till you see the car in person beside say a corolla. i saw the S70 beside a Mercedes A200, which is a C segment or VW Jetta competitor in EU. Same size. You will say its more C and B.

After trying out both the City n Vios..these are decent B segment cars vs the C segment i.e Corolla sized S70. I have to say that the Vios vs the S70 is an unfair fight that the Vios will lose. That said, the Vios is a very good B segment sedan, but against a C segment car, it is lacking.

@@pudingaomar6341 again you're exaggerating. I didnt hear lawn movers in the interior and if there were, the microphone would have picked it up. It is the feel of the cvt which isnt as nice as a trad torque converter. In terms of noise suppression, the corolla is actually above class average. Why are you comparing a larger D segment car, general manager's car which costs at least RM70,000 extra over a C segment middle manager's car? expect some lack of refinement and even if you hop into a honda civic you're going to get the same thing. Maybe a RM220K mercedes A200 would be refined enough for you?

Hard for me to comment actually. My car only hit 100k km recently and its basically been regular service or fluid changes and only a passenger side power window bracket change, two rear shocks, brake discs n pads over the years. And tyres. Nothing to report so i may not be a good example of high mileage users.

Well keep in mind. We know the safety not as advance like tesla and volvo but sure for these kind of car pretty "impressive" 😊

Japanese manufacturers usually more cautious than European in bringing extra tech n only wait if there is more demand. Tapi, baru2 ni Hino is testing (rapidkl) the Poncho mini bus which comes w auto. Secondly, operators tak demand based on costs. Expect Japanese buses to be cheap .

R less drama owing to having all wheel drive most likely. So it looks easier.

Well, the price. Different levels of engine tuning. One has more hp n torque with the same capacity. That is all. The rest depends on what you specced when you bought it.

Pls get in touch with your authorised hino distributor. All buses and trucks are custom ordered so it depends on what you put into one. Note that the coachbuilder builds the body on this hino chassis so you have to spec it up to what you want.
