Very cool idea. Excellent implementation of that pin. For me the only possible issue would be the hook. I use my toothpick a lot, not just for picking teeth and I would worry about possibly structural weakness.

I think what you said about how Arc appeals to knife community really describes the situation well. Arc is a nice tool but it's a bit dainty for many things. But that knife is kinda great. So Arc might be a product for non-multitool community.

I always do this with the Victorinox bottle opener. It's nice to see the Arc can do this too, as the Wave/Charge cannot.

A second hand Charge TTi is worth about 120 Euro in South Africa. A G10 Charge should be worth a lot more. About 210 Euro. G10 Scales should be worth a lot, especially the colours that you have. You could try to auction your tools too. That could get you a good price. Good luck.

I ordered in Russia. And there it came out cheaper by 20$ than I would have bought on Aliexpress. But the additional tools came out more expensive in total than the multitool.

I think you are very creative, but need to learn about business. Even though the companions look nice, they are replaceable by a simple plastic bag, while being lighter, easier to replace and cheaper. Even this companion is a little bit dangerous, the blades are outside and can get caught in something. If you analyse the usecase it's either something that you add to your belt or to carry in a sling or backpack. Your companions belong to the second group, where they face intense competition from: pouches, plastic bags, small bags, ... The handle on the other side is a really nice product, currently there is no competition. And another one that does not currently exist is a "companion" but only for the Victorinox tweezer, pin, toothpick, needle and pen. Try to compete, where there is no competition.

I know Leatherman is not "snatching " him for the same exact reason I'm thinking it's a good thing but it's not needed at all , all that aside he's picking up 3d printed broken parts from it as he's doing in the video his presentation is not appealing and I'm getting tired of people enabling this cause it's getting played out and look roxon is now coming out with something that's is gonna make these holders obsolete

I ordered in the U.K. I wanted a tool with only the tools that I want, not what the manufacturer decides, so far I have found it to be a superb multitool, bought the 1/4” driver, Saw and diamond file pack, also the small and large scalpel and small and large serrated blade pack. At the moment I’m looking forward to the release of the one handed D2 blade. It’s the most comfortable multitool I’ve ever used, I thought the Victorinox multitool was never going to lose that title, but the flex as nudged it into second place, the Flex just edges the win. And at last I can own a multitool without a bottle cap lifter, it’s been a long term peeve of mine, they include pointless bottle cap lifter on everything. Depending on what tools you use you can get 4 long tools on there as well. It’s going to be available soon for left or right handlers.

Im about to get the Arc not becaue I need it but because I like leatherman brand. My edc is leatherman Charge the titanium version and I can’t change that with any other model although I have multiple leatherman models.
