Blx is analog, entry level. Slxd is the latest difital addition, I would suggest it, digital conversion, RF transmission. GLXD has wireless transmission, so instead of RF transmission it goes on 2.4/5 wireless networks - Convenient, but easily subject to interferences. BLXR, GLXR ecc ecc is the same of BLX and GLX but with Rack-mounting receivers.

@@carlodeluca Not sure if PGX is even produced anymore. If I am right, it's basically the "old model" that now became BLX. In general, if you don't have big demands, the GLX is probably the most convenient choice due to its rechargeable battery and the easy setup. If you don't play in big venues with potentially hundreds of people interfering on the wi-fi, you should be good to go with it. If you want certainties, the SLX-D is a superior model and the entry level in the professional universe (vs the GLX being a great option for non-professionals).

I would never suggest a PEDAL, but if you are in NEED of one check out the BOSS VE-1. Could be a good combo quality/price. In general for vocal effects it’s always better to rely on the digital desks / external racks

Noise won’t come from the Mic for sure. Keep in mind that condenser mics are always suggested for audio recordings, but the SM58 can be used. You say “crisp” sound quality. For this you definitely need a condenser microphone.

Can you confirm this to be accurate? I think Michele eluded to it in his review (which is great, and very helpful, by the way, Michele), but did not go into it further. If this is correct, it would be a major selling point to me to have the ability to control the level of my bass at times apart from the level of the overall mix. I bought a used Galaxy Audio AS-1800, expecting to be able to do this based on a brief review posted by Rudy Sarzo, in which he says he does just that. You plug the overall aux send mix in one channel, and your bass in the other, and control the balance of the two from the bodypack. But when I tried to run the 1800 in stereo on the transmitter, it can't handle my bass signal. It distorts no matter what I do. Even running it through some pedals and preamps to lower the output of my bass, the AS1800 still distorts. When I run the transmitter in mono, it is totally fine. There is no need to reduce my bass signal at all. So I have not been able to test that theory with the 1800. It sounds terrible. I'm hoping it will work well with the Anleon.

microphones are meant to be used with proximity man. 3-5mm from the capsule, which basically means attached to the grid, or you lose information.

Per migliorare bisogna partire più dai difetti che dai pregi Purtroppo non ho fatto il cantante lirico , da puro spinto , ma ho fatto diversi anni di lezioni di canto, me ne intendo un po' di Tecnica . Da quel che sento saresti un tenore lirico. Io prendo i Fa sotto il do centrale. Per un po' non ti assillo più. Ti scrivo dal Veneto. 😊
