Do you know what's terrifying? All of humanity KNOWS there is a God (Romans 1:20), yet we deny and hate Him because our deeds are evil (John 3:19). When we lie and refuse to trust Christ as our sin offering, that natural antipathy toward God grows and hardens until we CANNOT come to him (2 Thessalonians 2:11, 12). As we live in these last days "knowledge shall be increased" (Daniel 12:4). It is already becoming apparent to science (much to their dismay) that there IS a creator. Soon it will become apparent too, that that creator is the God of the Bible, and that we are going to have to deal with him, that He has acted in human history and will judge the world. Yet for all this they will resist him and be destroyed. Christ died for your sins and you can trust him-

I don't have the location, unfortunately. The tour company brought us to the exact location. I had GPS location for photos and activity turned off, I wish I had turned them on for the trip! Tabuk Tours is the company, perhaps they would know.

From the Book of Mormon 4 And it came to pass that he departed into the wilderness. And he left his house, and the land of his inheritance, and his gold, and his silver, and his precious things, and took nothing with him, save it were his family, and provisions, and tents, and adeparted into the wilderness. 5 And he came down by the borders near the shore of the aRed Sea; and he traveled in the wilderness in the borders which are nearer the Red Sea; and he did travel in the wilderness with his family, which consisted of my mother, Sariah, and my elder brothers, who were Laman, Lemuel, and Sam. 6 And it came to pass that when he had traveled three days in the wilderness, he pitched his tent in a avalley by the side of a briver of water. 7 And it came to pass that he built an aaltar of bstones, and made an coffering unto the Lord, and gave dthanks unto the Lord our God. 8 And it came to pass that he called the name of the river, Laman, and it emptied into the Red Sea; and the valley was in the borders near the mouth thereof.

I love how peaceful it was there during the offseason. Your morning walk up the hill looked so pleasant. The singing and praying was neat to experience; way to keep the camera rolling. Were those men from the nearby monastery? Do you know if that singing is a daily ritual at the cave?

@TrademarkTaylor 5 ай бұрын
Yes the offseason was great for being able to take our time and soak in the experience without crowds. The men were part of the service, a few times they assisted with moving some candles. I don't know how regular it was but it seemed like they had a pretty solid routine down. The two men would help with moving candles and assisting the priest at times. I was pleasantly surprised to show up and experience it. Afterwards the local woman who arrived at the same time we did was kind enough to point out some of the main highlights of the cave.

Jerome noted: "It seems to me that the same mountain is called by two names, then Sinai, then Horeb." I. Pomyalovsky wrote: “There are many places in the Old Testament where it (Mount Horeb) is identified with Sinai.” Biblical descriptions clearly point to Mount Zion Horeb as a volcano. Protestant reformer John Calvin believed that Sinai and Horeb were the same mountain, with the eastern side of the mountain being called Sinai and the western side Horeb. Abraham Ibn Ezra suggested that there was one mountain, "only it had two peaks that bore these different names." In all of Africa and Asia there is only one volcano with 2 peaks, and it is still called Sin (Arab Din (4)) and Arhab (Harra Arhab), and this volcano is located near the city of Sana in the lands bearing the name Amran (1). Moses ben Amran. Not far from there is Yam Suf, in Arabic bahr as Sophie, where the pharaoh drowned. Those who understand linguistics know that both Hebrew and Arabic words are based on three letter roots (without vowels), thus hrb for Horeb and that there is a process known as metathesis where occasionally translations from one language to another involve changing the order of the letters say to rbh, or brh etc. 17 volcanic sites are listed in Arabia only two with an elevation above 3,000. Harra (the Arabic word for Volcano) of Dhamar at 3,500 Harra of Arhab at 3,100. "RHB" "HRB". The same. A tall volcano that fit the physical requirements of Mt. Horeb perfectly. Most likely, the Jews left the city of Marib after the collapse of the dams. After talking with God, Moses, or rather Joshua, went to where today is the province of Asir, Saudi Arabia. The borders of ancient Israel are the entire coast of the Red Sea, from Mount Hor, (jebel Harra in Arabic) not far from the city of Saudi - Jeddah to the port city of Yemen - Aden, there on Mount Shamsan is the tomb of Cain. All the events described in the Tanakh and the New Testament took place in southern Arabia. As Christ was born, he lived and preached in Najran. Palestine has nothing to do with Christianity, Judaism and Islam.. Jabal Ḍin , or Jabal Ẓin (3), is a distinct cone-shaped mountain in Yemen.[3] It is located at the northern end of the Sanaa plain, just east of the road from Sanaa to 'Amran.[3] Of volcanic origin, it marks the high point between the Sanaa plain and the al-Bawn plain.[3] Regarded as a sacred site since pre-Islamic times, Jabal Din points approximately to Mecca when viewed from Sanaa.[2] Thus, according to tradition, the prophet Muhammad instructed that the people of Sanaa should use Jabal Din as the reference point for the qibla.[3] There are pre-Islamic ruins at Jabal Din's summit.[3] The mountain does not appear to have been fortified during the Islamic period.[3] 1. Amran in northern Yemen, named for a relative of Musaikiyya (Moses) - a man of the Azd. This is the Kush in the Tihama that the Torah states correctly is next to Canaan (Wadi Kanawnah). Its also been rightly noted “the southern Tihama (from Mecca southwards) was called Kus (Ibn Mugawir, Tarikh, 83) by some (the inhabitants of Amran =Jews?). It is likely that Kush, Ham, Lud and other names were originally names of rather small areas…” (See J. Retso, The Arabs in Antiquity, 2013, p. 231, fn. 52) 2."Geonames.org. Jabal Z̧īn". Retrieved 25 February 2021. 3. Wilson, Robert T.O. (1989). Gazetteer of Historical North-West Yemen. Germany: Georg Olms AG. pp. 7-8, 221-2. Retrieved 25 February 2021. 4. The Yemenite dialect (Hebrew) did not have the letter ḍ (ḍād) found in Arabic (as in Ramadan), so it was replaced by the letter ṣ (ṣād). Since the ancient Yemenis could not pronounce the sound ṣ correctly, they rendered it as tz (tsad).

Sir, with respect, if it wasn't for God working through Ron Wyatt, not one of you would have stood there to tell a story. Arabia would still have been closed for tourism like this. He was not a sensationalist, but a person that had a burning desire to Honour God and show that His Word is absolutely true.

JETHRO, Moses' father-in-law, was a priest of the Most High God. The SAME GOD that Moses worshipped. Midian, was a son of Abraham by Keturah. So ALL OF ABRAHAMS SONS, in the beginning, KNEW who the true God was and how to access him, because, of course, their father, Abraham, would have told them. In time, of course, that changed, they maybe added some things to it, or took some things away until they ended-up with idolatry.
