Dear Customer Thank you for your request. We recommend operating the PENWELD with hose lengths of 4 m and 8 m with the AIRSTREAM 100, AIRSTREAM ST, ROBUST or compressed air. These air sources provide the necessary pressure to overcome the resistance of such long hose configurations. The MINOR has too little air pressure to do this. Best regards your Leister Team

We generally recommend allowing 10 minutes for the appliance to heat up sufficiently. Hello, is there any guide on how to use the KSR Digital alongside a DSE to control a LE 10000 heater?

The KSR Digital Controller and the DSE is phased out and not longer available. This components are replaced with the CSS (123.039) or CSS Easy (125.944) and SSR (159.220). They are much cheaper. Anyway, if you want to connect the old KSR controller with the DSE then you have to connect the port nr. 11 from the KSR to the blue wire from the DSE. And port Nr. 12 from the KSR to the red wire of the DSE. I hope we could answer your question in this way. Best regards Leister Team

Dear Ionel Thank you for your request. Press the Off button on the display and let the extruder cool down for 5 minutes. The air should drop below 100 degrees Celsius. The plastic remains very warm for a long time. But this is no problem, just don’t storage in the plastic case as long as its hot. Best regards Your Leister Team

@@leister-tutorials it’s ok, I figured it out. I had to hold the start button in and plug it on, then switch it on/off 5 times and it took me to the menu where I can reset the hours. IMO this is very shady tac tics to make your customers send the guns back to have the hours reset. And the fact the the gun shuts off completely making it unusable just because it hit the service hour mark. Not great Leister. Not great at all!!!

Hi, The table and the welding space should be lower so that operator could work while sitting comfortably. Moreover, table and bottom wheel holder of puller should be mounted with use of quick coupling to transform the machine without extra tools.

I want to control the Air Flow AND the Temperature independently via an external controller. Is this possible? I'm using an Omron CJ2M PLC and a 0-10 V Analog Output card.

Yes, you can control the air flow and the temperature via an external controller (4-20mA or 0-10V). But you need one controller for the air flow and one controller for the temperature. How do I configure the controller output (Out 4), that is, mA or V. I only find rl.1 to rl.3. I am checking output 4 and it always gives me 16.8 volts. I am using css controller

Dear Gilberto For to use and SSR, we usually use a PWM Signal out from the CSS. At our CSS you have to use Out 2, clamp 19 + 20. Please see our Application Note how to configure the CSS. You have to change 2 parameter. Best regards Your Leister Team
