I haven't played the Pixel Remaster yet (going through the [I think, technically the original?] on my SNES Classic/mini), but I'm not sure if I enjoyed the remastering of this scene more or the wholesome reaction. They did it justice!

The games still are solid A F on the OG console / emu scene for sure! I will say, though that the quality of life improvements they made in the Pixel remasters (big time the music updates) were so damn good. Even the small animation updates and segments were great touches! If you do want to get an updated version, the Pixel Remasters are solid for sure! Appreciate the comment, mate!

Small note here: Those tracks were either made before or after on Final Fantasy Distant Worlds OST already done perhaps before Pixel Remasters version if I do believed, but if so.., I believe they made that singing OST just only for Final Fantasy 6! 😊 But also note: Distant Worlds is also heard at huge Concerts that changes location every so often!! 😮

FF6 is my favorite FF game with only FF14 being a close second, so this hit me in the feels hard. Never would I expect them to add voice to the game on the pixel remaster.~

Glad I wasn't the only one!! I really hope they give this some kind of update. It is well deserved and well needed! Unfortunately, I think they're going to hold on remastering / updating it until they REALLY need to. Like if they're down and out - they drop a remaster / update to this = immediate $$$$. Same with Chrono Trigger. Those two games are company savers in case they need to drop a big hit hehe

Some changes were probably necessary so that the lyrics fit the melodies better.

Yeah - a lot of the translation was updated from the OG Ted Woolsey's done in the NA Final Fantasy III - but like @avclarke mentioned it may have hit the timing & melody a bit better. I do wish they could have 100% kept the original, but this still was unexpected and awesome!

The DOOM Slayer's timeline goes like this: DOOM (1993) > DOOM 2 (1994) > DOOM 64 > DOOM TDA > DOOM 2016 > DOOM Eternal Basically, he's the same dude that started out in the original game, but with his lore expanded into the new games. He's the lone survivor that fights off demons in the Mars base in DOOM 1, then on Earth in DOOM 2. In DOOM 64 he ends up getting trapped in hell for god knows how long and eventually ends up in the world of Argent D'Nur (which is NOT Earth, although I'm unsure if it's just a different planet or an entirely separate dimension, more likely the latter). This is when the events of The Dark Ages is going to take place - before 2016 and Eternal.

Correction in the og Doom your on Phobos and Deimos the Moons of Mars , Doom 64 has you on Mars for the first time if i am not mistaken .

Its a planet from another Universe, the Argenta with the help of the Maykers knowledge and tehnology , when they obtained space travel they traveled to other worlds/planets , one was Mars and they build the City of Hebad there .

Multiplatform means more money for Microsoft. But Day one on Gamepass means Microsoft just wants subscriptions. Why make games when you can take little risk and just license them.

Yes, getting Cam on the current console generation will open up even more Co-Op options. There are so many that are current Gen only.

i got 31 out of 40 some of the older ones i didnt know other than Jim Duncan, Jale the Snake, Rowdy Roddy Pipper & few others but once it got to WWE territory i knew almost instantly
