The DOOM Slayer's timeline goes like this: DOOM (1993) > DOOM 2 (1994) > DOOM 64 > DOOM TDA > DOOM 2016 > DOOM Eternal Basically, he's the same dude that started out in the original game, but with his lore expanded into the new games. He's the lone survivor that fights off demons in the Mars base in DOOM 1, then on Earth in DOOM 2. In DOOM 64 he ends up getting trapped in hell for god knows how long and eventually ends up in the world of Argent D'Nur (which is NOT Earth, although I'm unsure if it's just a different planet or an entirely separate dimension, more likely the latter). This is when the events of The Dark Ages is going to take place - before 2016 and Eternal.

Correction in the og Doom your on Phobos and Deimos the Moons of Mars , Doom 64 has you on Mars for the first time if i am not mistaken .

Its a planet from another Universe, the Argenta with the help of the Maykers knowledge and tehnology , when they obtained space travel they traveled to other worlds/planets , one was Mars and they build the City of Hebad there .

Multiplatform means more money for Microsoft. But Day one on Gamepass means Microsoft just wants subscriptions. Why make games when you can take little risk and just license them.

Yes, getting Cam on the current console generation will open up even more Co-Op options. There are so many that are current Gen only.
