Wow, I just done 2 machetes yesterday for my upcoming film, "Jason" I bought a 2 pk and notched out one. I like how u blackened out the blade, wish I'd thought of that, I used a torch and gave it a burn look. Great video! Thanks for sharing.

I am currently in progress of filming a fan made movie about Friday the 13th Part 2 and 3, short version is that Jason from part 2 realizes there is an imposter (Jason part 3) going around slashing ppl. I want to do something different but besides the Hockey Mask version, so this tutorial really helped. Thank you.

Beautiful work, the only thing differently I would have done. That I do,is you don't need strap snaps, the actual hero mask uses simple cheap fold over copper folding brads, if that's the correct name..but hey yours works!
