Just swapping me chassis on a 90 (language you will understand) I am thinkinking she may get mod bunper centre pin. my current rear tow bar accomodates Ball and pin, I have seen the winches that attach to pins, that may b thought for you, am considering myself even if its just drag something on trailer will just need to consider powers supply. Should do random use one winch. may have seen a chainsaw motor powered one but not going that route. looked like a good adventure and my Kia soul has done well to date round the Black country. Has ground clearance but not a defender. I do at least still carry rope n shovel..

I'm with you, Chap. This happens to me quite frequently too when I'm out in my 110. People get themselves stuff in various ways, no prep on their behalf, see my car and then just expect me to recover them. Quite often leads to arguments too.

I'd like to do that rear door window mod to our Defender. Few mods here I'd like to do for overlanding. Nice!

I agree, I have lost count the number of people that come running over when we turn up in our Defender asking for help. Just as we set up to do food or coffee, then "Hi, we got stuck. Can you tow us?" We will help anyone, but why head out in snow with a 2WD car or van with no food, water, and some recovery gear. We love to see people having fun but don't put others in danger. Anyway, it's great to see you guys getting out in the snow! Take care.

Great trip out and a fantastic adventure for your youngster, years to come she will be having adventures teaching her youngsters how to go on. As for people being unprepared, it’s just society that is spoon fed at every corner.
