what a wip parade! so many beautiful wips and great fabric choices 👌 i enjoyed the side conversations and speaking notes you made throughout as well as i that you work on so many different fabric/thread dyers and you were able to give us some honest opinions... and i may have to join you in getting all the cosmo floss

Enjoyed seeing all your WIPS! I like the pastel Long Dog, but I think the darker blue would look good too. I would say maybe get that top portion filled in before deciding, because I think once you have more floss on the fabric it will be more visible. On the blue geometric you started for your coworker, I would just finish filling in the border you've started and call the whole thing DONE. It would make a cool panel for a project bag, a tote bag, or on a piece of clothing or something.

She is absolutely gorgeous in those colors. You also kocked it out of the park with test stitching. I couldn’t have asked for a better stitcher! I totally feel your anxiety or maybe never finishing your full coverage. 😬 My kitchen is the same shade of yellow as your yellow fabric for the kitchen Owl Forest project! That was incredibly fun thank you for a wonderful WIP parade I really enjoyed it. On the Long dog sampler it’s such a big project I would pick a different floss that you love the look of and love to stitch with. You’re just going to not want to stitch on it and any further time out in will be a waste. Take care and thank you

So it’s taken me a while to get through this delightful recap, but honestly it was so nice to get little spurts of joy and happiness every time! You were gifted and bought so many exciting things! I really want to stitch Lilith and I do think the dark and stormy fabric colours are the way I’m leaning as well.

I'm a crazy Disney adult too - I've had a blast with my sister and her family when my nephews were small, but it's also so much fun to go as an adult. My best friend's birthday is November 25th, and we've made a tradition of going to Disney right after Thanksgiving and staying at Wilderness Lodge; I'm so excited to go this year since we haven't been able to go in a few years. I love the Festival of the Arts, too - we stumbled into the first one because we were there to celebrate my birthday the year they held the first one. I'm glad you picked up the Jan Hicks chart; I was so excited about it that I bought 2 without realizing it lol I had to laugh when you talked about Autumn Lane - I'm planning on starting one of their pieces soon too in hopes that I can come to the retreat next year. My chuckle came because I started Garden Verses as soon as I submitted my Google form for this year's retreat.. planning on having her finished on the brag table. I'm still working on her skirt - that dress is HUUUUUGGGGEEE!! lol. 🪡👠
