For the Gratin, I'd blend the the corn into the savory mix to make it creamier and thicker.

Hi! Thanks for your kind words but this kind of content doesn't get the views galore tbh. I used to post every week for 3 years and after hours of work I'd still be stuck at 20 views tops (some videos are still stuck in the 20-50 ballpark). I enjoyed the whole process a lot but getting little to no feedback got just too draining so I abandoned the channel.

Thanks for the tips. I watched dozen of videos on how to make tiramisu last night but they all have tons of sugar or added sweeteners so I came up with the idea to use frozen bread (because some say you need to dehydrate the freshly baked lady fingers on rack for 24 hours!) I cut in sticks to look like lady fingers and I learned from smart Italian grandma that it’s best to use a spoon to wet the ‘lady fingers’ with spoonful of coffee until it’s soaked to my liking. It was so fun to create my own version of tiramisu. ! I felt like I cracked the code. Can’t even describe this rush of happiness came over me from this sweet moment ❤ Next time I just have to make smaller portions as I literally inhaled it 😝

Whats the temp and how long for bread pudding?
@TastyEscapes Жыл бұрын
Temp is around 170-180. I didn't really check the clock but the best rule of thumb is to check after about 10-15 minutes and remove from the oven when golden-brown. Sorry for the late reply. The channel is abandoned.

IF you’re going to do a video on a cake called NIGGER CAKE or N-Word cake for respect purposes kiiiiind of You should give SOME sort of history behind it or origin since I’m black I’ve never ever heard of such a cake ANYWHERE In my history of blackness Maybe this is one of these Caucasian things that us ethnic’s talk about y’all having these secrets and POOF lol here’s the proof n I’ve asked my family members even if they’ve heard of the usage and nope but yea a brief history of it would help dampen it a bit or maybe not since it’s YOUR channel and the videos already produced or maybe you’ll just tell me to go Fu”k myself

Hi! Sorry I abandoned this channel for a while now. Tbh I do not know the history of it but this recipe has been in the family for a long while. Considering how language has changed over the last century, my assumption is that in those backward days a black person was called like that in Germany. And seeing how "much darker" it is than a usual chocolate cake, they called it like that. I do not mean to offend and it was no intention of mine. To give a bit more context for this would be to point out that in germany there is a sauce called "Gypsy sauce". Really don't ask me where that started from but there is discussion continues to have it changed. Mind you that sauce is sold COMMERCIALLY. I have studied translation studies and I have been involved with linguistics as well. I found it fascinating to see how perception has changed over the decades/centuries. Let me give you another example for the German language to make up for the late reply: if something is "getürkt" (Turk-ified) it means "faked/tampered with". If you know the German-Turkish history you can guess when this started. I haven't heard the usage lately but older folks still use it. Have a great holiday season!

@TastyEscapes Жыл бұрын
which one? Each dish will behave differently in each oven but general rule of thumb is 10-15 minutes at 170-180 degrees Celsius. Remove when golden brown. Sorry for the late reply. The channel is abandoned.

technically you can make it out of pretty much everything, you'd just need to adjust the ratio of starch and sugar accordingly.

@TastyEscapes3 жыл бұрын
didn't know that at the time. Corn flour is a completely different thing in the Middle Eastern region so the association can be wrong. As a translation major I'd avoid the corn flour and just say starch to avoid this misunderstanding but hey, I am assuming stuff :D

It looks amazing! I will definitely make it for my husband’s 40th birthday, thanks for the idea
Yeah just about. But it really depends on you oven and what kind of cheese you use. 170-180 is the average. Mine is a bit on the slower side so it might take a bit longer for example. Always keep an eye on them tbh

Hey there! I truly hope you give it a shot! My first try with this for example turned out a bit bland (not enough sugar) but it really depends on how sweet your carrots themselves are. So give it a try and let me know how it turns out!
