Appreciate the content but aim in CS2 is much more than clicking heads. a lot of the time you are strafing and putting crosshair on common spot instead of standing still and waiting to tap some heads. spraying instead of tapping. with your approach it may makes a good pistol player or awper. it may be counter-intuitive but tracking is much more valuable in CS2.

Would love to see more like this. Especially since I feel like the CS community are opening up more and more to the idea of external aim trainers due to Styko and EliGE

aim training is fully useless for cs. in val it's fine because the ground movement is so ridiculously slow and basic. but in cs you should never even open an aim trainer.
@mattyow777
@mattyow777 5 күн бұрын
Numerous empirical cases can speak to the contrary, providing both statistical and anecdotal evidence of improvement to in-game mechanics in CS. Also, these are not random individuals grinding ladder, but rather well-respected professional players like EliGE and Styko. But I mean... whatever you want to believe, I guess.
@ForestBHOP
@ForestBHOP 5 күн бұрын
@@mattyow777 elige has not mechanically improved from playing aim trainers, nobody in cs has. theres no aiming situation in cs that is relevant to any aim scenario because you do not just stand still in cs. you are wasting people's time with this video convincing them to do useless stuff when the only training they need is to play the game. the best aimers in cs are mechanically miles beyond you or any other kovaaks player and they don't even play dm. again, you are literally hurting prospective cs players with this video.
@mattyow777
@mattyow777 4 күн бұрын
@ There is much subjective air from this. I feel like you simply dislike aim trainers yourself and are perpetuating whatever line of thinking that paints aim training as useless. There are many players like you who do this, again, even though there are mountains of empirical evidence showing progression made within aim trainers. I cannot stress enough how much you have become the minority in these discussions (and on this channel). If you actually looked, you visually see the difference being made in consistency and small micro improvements, which DO matter. These can also be mental/approach-related benefits like not over-adjusting when an opponent peeks out at you in CS. This is an issue that I encountered with a pro like EliGE, and we worked to fix it with aim training. The testing we did verified that the training WORKED. Also, I feel like it is even more within the anti-aim training perspective to say that I or other Kovaak's players who don't regularly play these games are models that deny the benefits of aim trainers. It is really ignorant and poor logic. If any of you who share this argument truly wanted to disprove the effectiveness of aim training, you would do better than mudslinging and actually take a look at what is being changed or talked about within the aiming world. If you have nothing but inflammatory remarks and personal opinions to interject on the matter of aim training, no one will listen to you, and that's how it's become.

Doesn't cover all the bases. In R6, for example, you can be strafing while shooting accurately.

@@mattyow777 I don't think it makes sense to group R6 with CS and VAL. Because the gunplay mechanics are too different.

Seriously everyone talks about everything and u say the crosshair placement is crucial but even after iam so focused on that I still miss shots and idk why but after edge tracking the wall before engaging the fight and standing with counterstrafe after spotting the enemy and then only shooting makes playing valorant easy even the clips that u showed which has various game clip i feel like it still works example take that sige clip he edge tracked and search for enemy then shoot on him easy no one talk about this

Amazing tutorial I'm a novice player and was playing Pasu while listening to this and i instantly improved. I have a question regarding a situation that happened on my last run: What if i miss a bot but all the other ones are far away and at the edge of the screen? Should i go for the same bot again if i judge that the others aren't as viable or should i always try to hit another one if i miss?
