If your replacing the rotor it doesnt matter where you hit it with a hammer. Good video otherwise

It's easy for that cube to round out. In that case, it's easier to use a c-clamp, applying slight pressure, then turn the round metal part of the caliper with an adjustable channel lock. Retighten the c clamp as the caliper works its way back when you turn the round metal piece.

Read manual and pull out doom light fuse, no wire cutting needed. Plus if you decide to use door sensor again just replace the fuse.

Great video, I just broke my stupid blinker lever today and I don’t think this gorilla glue is gonna hold, I’m happy to hear that it fixed when you turn it shut off automatically, because I have to manually turn the blinkers off.

So.. i did this with the front passenger side door and now my battery keeps going dead. But the door ajar light is off. The relay/fuse box makes a clicking sound when i teied to start it. Had to jump itbto get to work

That little special tool deal was a bunch of bullshit. Probably took a half hour on each piston, and both me and my brother ripped our knuckles up. Whoever came up with that as a solution should be shot. Other than that, great video and big help getting my first brake job done.

I don’t see why you would need to use the t30 on the dampeners if you’re using a wrench because you could just remove the bolt and the dampener all at once

One suggestion. First, it worked perfect, but I cut the green wire down closer to the door jamb (front of door), next to a grounded bolt on the door. I stripped the green wire so I could then attach it to the grounded bolt, by loosening the bolt, then inserting the bare wire under the bolt, then tightened the bolt. It worked perfect and I did not need to use an additional wire lead like you did farther back on the door.

If it's fuel injected pumping gas pedal won't do anything but if you flip key off an on for a few seconds it should start on first crank with no problem

Way to much talking

I put an 11hp honda on mine, clutch with belt.

Dont have to take the cluster bezel out or the bezel to the right of the wheel. Just tilt the wheel down, pop the top cover loose and tilt the side closest to the wheel, back towards cluster. Pop the left side cover off that has the dimmer on it (for clearance for the turn signal switch to come out), the one bolt on the bottom and you can get the switch in and out.

Thank you but I still had to remove the other 2 screws under the steering wheel to make room to get to the switch. I also did break one of the clasps from the panel near the radio, but was able to bend it back into shape with my needle nose pliers. Thank you!

Jesus Christ, DUDE,, get to the fucking point. if you want to change the rear brakes on the ford edge you need the square thingy. loosen the top bolt on the caliper. loosen the parking brake cable(not easy or fun). pull the caliper BACK. switch out the PADS. use the square tool and twist in the piston. slap the mother fucker back together. put the damn tire back on. PUMP the brakes a few times before DRIVING the car. there a little more to it than that but you get the idea. and even more if you need to have the rotors turned or changed. but God Damn it man, I got my head stuck in the wheel well of a raggedy ass ford I don't have time for your bullshit stories. get to the fucking point. have a good one. keep screwing 'the MAN' by doing it yourself.
