Süda kuis Sa ruttu tõused Kuumalt rinnas tuksuma Kui Su nime suhu võtan Püha Eesti isamaa Head olen näind ja paha Mõnda jõudsin kaota Mõnda elus jätan maha Sind ei iial unusta Sinu rinnul olen hingand Kui ma vaevalt astusin Sinu õhku olen joonud Kui ma rõõmust hõiskasin Minu pisaraid Sa näinud Minu muret kuulnud Sa Eestimaa mu tööd, mu laulud Sul neid tulin rääkima Oh ei jõua iial öelda ma Kuis täidad südame Sinu põue tahan heita ma Kord viimse unele. Ema kombel kinni kata Lapse tuksvat rinda Sa Eesti muld ja Eesti süda Kes neid jõuaks lahuta Oh ei jõua iial öelda ma Kuis täidad südame Sinu põue tahan heita ma Kord viimse unele. Ema kombel kinni kata Lapse tuksvat rinda Sa Eesti muld ja Eesti süda Kes neid jõuaks lahuta Eesti muld ja Eesti süda Kes neid jõuaks lahuta

The words look weird in English, they kind of do not make sense. It is a rock song, actually from our iconic rock band. Its main singer unfortunately drowned with Estonia, the ship in 1994. May be you heard of it, the biggest ship tragedy of peaceful times during the last century. Anyway, this rock band, managed to create and perform those patriotic songs during soviet occupation because the managed to create the lyrics so vague that they only made sense for us. The soviet idiots and censorship slaves they just sounded as a love song. This is why they were able to exist and create music. The lyrics in English do not make much sense. This is poetry and poetry, if it can ever at all be translated, needs to be translated by a poet, not Google translate

kzbin.info/www/bejne/hp6ranh5fbCYi9E Check this out. I like this version a lot more, much more Estonian. this one is a little too "gospelish", it somehow does not sound Estonian. The guy singing on the link I sent is actually a drama actor. It is a very Estonian thing for drama actors to sing, but sing as actors, not trying to imitate musicians. It is a very Estonian thing and I love that.

:) ...Well, it's not 'appropriate groom' at 0:29 but translates as 'fastest groom' (in Estonian as 'nobedam neiu').. :) They speak this kind of English maybe in aristocratic-manors somewhere in British farmlands, but commonly they speak much easier English.. but for English readers it translates quite good.. Very nice song!! (see Wikipedia for Tuljak).
