What is this recent castigation against Kwaku Ananse? Kwaku Ananse is a folk hero. Yes he is cunning and all that but anytime he engaged in wrong practices, he suffered for it. So each Kwaku Ananse story has a morale and a lesson, and those are what we should pay attention to.

Massa, u talk too much. That's the issue with Ghana. Too many talkers, Too few doers. Dishonesty is a byproduct of poverty.

Kwabena is offering some healthy points on the issue. However, some of his ideas are in need of a deeper thought. He says, "Intelligence comprises knowledge and skills." That is not Intelligence. Those elements define capacity. Intelligence is the ability to interpret and understand knowledge. Whereas the ability to apply that knowledge in a meaningful way is wisdom. In my opinion, Kwabena correctly identifies the system as rigged, but at the same time, he seeks to remedy the ills with tools originating from that same rigged system.
