Hi! Yes I still have it and I'm still using it every now and then. It's holding up pretty well although I have to say, I keep losing the side protectors for the bag and I have to keep replacing them. LOL 😂

I have vixia mini X and I use it now as a dashcam in my car due its wide angle lens. I have three batteries for it and I can also use the AC adapter in the car with a car power inverter. And I have a 2 TB microsd card in it (with an SD card adapter), which can hold over 190 hours of high quality 24 Mbps footage. I've only paid 400 USD for the camera.

Hello Arissa did you manage to find a contractor to replace the full length windows? I am just about to start Reno on my flat (also point block with similar windows) and having difficulties with this set of windows, due to requirement of PE, and BCA and HDB approvals.. 🥲

heya! There are some window contractors that have the certification that doesn't require the use of an external PE and is able to apply for the permit to replace full length windows. But from what I know, there are certain guidelines and approved glass that has to be used for full-length windows. Hope this helps!

Ziam Ge Huat (ZGH Aluminium) told us that they are able to do it without a PE. Smart Door Pte Ltd as well, but please do your due diligence and check their reviews ya?

Very beautiful big house with potential for renovating. You mention you like photography and light thus chose west facing home. I am sure many people have warn you about the heat for west facing home,so be prepared mentally and don't underestimate the heat 😅 I stay in west facing condo for 5 years and its horrifying. The heat is insane,electricity bill from turning on aircon at high speed is big. Because the sun heat up the wall from afternoon till evening and the heat at the wall stay very long. Uv film for windows does help reflecting sun to get inside your home but the heat will stay at that window frame until at night as well. Double glaze window will help. And maybe look into insulation to prevent those heats from the wall to get into the house since you cant do anything with the wall/paint outside then at least insulate from inside. Knowing sg weather is still warm even at night so those heat at the wall won't dissipate fast at night. Or for your living room window space that face west,create a "balcony" room space like those Korean home so at least you get a "barrier" so the heat from the wall doesn't go into your home. Although it will consume some space.

We have taken the facing into consideration when designing the space. Besides UV films, we are also using honeycomb blinds. Wai’s studio is going to have a staggered design that contains the heat without compromising on the light that reaches the middle of the home.

Omg I can’t tell you how long I spent staring at my layout trying to make sense of that huge corridor space in the middle of the home and trying to make the best use of it. Breaking the wall between the bedroom and the balcony was a way of opening up the space and making it make sense for us. I hope our renovation will give you some inspiration for your own renovation in the future!

Yes I was aware if it, but I much prefer using the phone cause I can dial in on the settings, but the connection can be a but unreliable at times.

The Canon Legria Mini is primarily a video camera so understandably, it wouldn't have any flashlight. If you're looking for an LED light for videos, I would recommend a small one from maybe Aputure, Godox or Ulanzi. You probably don't need one that's too big to keep the form factor of the camera small.

I still got mine and still use it. I recently found out that you can still take photos while NOT connected to the phone it makes it a fun go to party camera for me since it gets past around and you dont know what you got until you look at the sd-card. I looking for new lenses tho, that's how i stumbled a pun your video, haha. Couldn't remember that it's this old lol but i still love it.

Yeah I still wear the Duma cargo. I have a classic flap in medium but it's a vintage one from the early 2000s and it's made of jersey and comes with the 2.55 jewellery strap instead of the leather woven chain strap. I don't particularly like the caviar or lambskin leather ones cause they always appear too formal to me? I love the casual feel of jersey and how I can just pair it with anything and still look put together. Plus I don't have to be too precious with it.
