Should be easier than the v though. This one is made in China and they've scaled up the production capabilities, plus lots of people will buy the v again as production catches up on that one.

Hi, what are your favorite recipes! Really liked all of the ones you've used/showed in the video, would you mind linking / mentioning what they were called? Also, I saw in a frame that you used the WCL-X100 II wide angle converter! How often do you find yourself using it (as opposed to using the camera as-is with the stock 23mm lens), and do you also use the TCL-X100 II 50mm converter?

It's actually just a random mobile phone strap. I don't recommend it though. I've gone back to using Peak Design straps.

let me know when you're in the UK, i still think the X100 original is still up there as a work of art, a camera that forces you to to look for images rather than let them fall into easy option. Taking time and slowing down is key sometimes. I have all the recent X100 models, I think the original and the F and the T are very special. I just ordered the X100Vi also. I'm quite excited to travel to Japan and China, and Norway with it.

I think the X100’s auto-focusing might end u trigger me. I was feeling lost after selling my X100V and I’m so glad to have the X100VI now. Can’t wait to use it in France and Japan

Can you verify if the digital crop modes work in video? This is one question I have that I haven’t seen answered yet and my pre order is back ordered even though I purchased 10 minutes after pre sales opened 😢

Heya! So I customized my focus ring to switch between crop modes and it does not work for videos. But honestly, I usually just shoot in 4k60p and just crop in post (cause my video output is usually 1080p anyway). You could technically get an even closer crop if you shot in 6.2k. Are you located in the US? I heard preorders numbers were crazy! I hope you get yours soon.

@@ArissaHa Yes I’m located in the US. Have a trip to Italy in 3 weeks I was hoping to have it for, but I’m not sure I will now. That’s a bummer the crops don’t work in video like on my OM5, but yes, shooting in 6k would give you a tighter crop at least. Can always crop more after the fact with 6k as well, but I like shooting with proper framing in camera. Thank you for the info!

Black of course. The only reason why I had the X100 in silver was cause it was the only available colour when I bought it. The black version came as a limited edition some time after its launch. It's always been black for me.

Amazing looking camera. I've owned every X100 camera barring the X100S since the beginning. Sadly, I think with all the hype though that owing to crazy demand this one might be elusive. Shame, as it's a great tool for both work and play, and I really, really want those Nostalgic Negative and Fuji Reala simulations!

Hey Joel! Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I do agree with my shortcomings when it comes to audio. I'm not the best at that. I actually have a Rode NTG mic on my cam but I think the fact that the distances between me and the camera caused some fluctuations in the audio. Think I should switch to a lav instead?

@@ArissaHa Definitely a lav mic, wired or wireless. wireless are a bit more pricy, but worthwhile- maybe dji mic 2. Anyway, hope to see more of your tech content soon! take care!

Hi! I do own the X-T5 too, but I think the X100VI has a different use case. I got my X100V before the X-T5 and I guess it was a non-committal way of getting into the Fujifilm ecosystem without having to invest in additional lenses.
