Is there really not a way to get say a list of 20 hair meshes that you can just paste onto the bald head instead of getting 200 different versions of the head with the various hair styles and facial hair etc

While maknig the "setupMainMenu" function I had a problem. I cannot select bind event.

solved. For some reason I had to drag it from the Main Menu widget into the main menu player controller and bind there.

It's too much chaos. Can't connect some of the nodes for some reason, target self I can't connect to main menu. I can't call functions and they all return errors if I manually drag them from WB_MainMenu to PC_MainMenu. I will come back here for character creation and ignore everything done in the menu.

Hey! At first, I would like to thank you for making this tutorial series. I will make this after... Finishing a tarkov series. Do you remember me? I'm the guy that around 2 months ago had a problem with 2 part of Tarkov's inventory. Well, I decided to learn much more about blueprints and not to use your Patreon project - but thank you for sharing it, sometimes I use it to compare my fuctions - and around week ago I started your Tarkov series once again with 2 months of blueprint coding experience. Everything is working flawlessly and if I make a mistake - I debug it by myself. Sometimes it's hard but always possible. Im learning LOTS of new things from that series that - 2 months ago - didn't make any sense to me. Hope you are good! Thank you! P.S Is it possible to use gardening system with the spatial inventory? I think it is, but I want to make sure, this is also in my playlist.

That’s is strange, you have to understand that devs are mostly responsible for logical part and not anything related to 3D modeling/texturing/selecting visuals, so if you will provide a dev with all 3D models and correct technical task so that he will have to connect everything to make it work it should not be a problem to find such person. But if you are looking for someone who will create a character, setup characters visual, split it into parts and create a system for character creation it will be hard because these tasks are not for one role and one person in normally should not be responsible for a whole process

Can you please please please incorporate morph targets? You don’t have to get crazy with it but show a basic option or 2 for like making the nose bigger or smaller. That way we can get more in-depth from there on our own.

I just finished watching the tutorial above and was curious to see if you worked out why the fox kept noticing you when it shouldn't, as there was no part 6 in the series to see if you worked out the problem? I also wanted to say thank you for creating this series. I've followed a LOT of Unreal Engine tutorials on KZbin and I find your programming style quite different to many of the other peoples tutorials I have watched. I find your approach much more logical and easy to follow. You always come up with different ways than I have seen in other tutorials to achieve the same results, which in turn helps me learn more about developing in Unreal Engine. Keep up the good work!

@Dengojaba Hi, I like your Tutorial series, unfortunately when I am picking up Items there are not shown in the Inventory and are also not inside the Inventory Component in Debug mode. Also, I have two Errors one „accessed none trying to read property callfunc breakhitresult_hitactoror“ and „accessed none trying to read property callfunc_GetComponentByClass_ReturnValue“ both are occurring in the „Add Item to Inventory“ Node. I also have an "accessed none trying to read property Item" Error which I could resolve with an is Valid node inside „Add Item to Container“ does anyone maybe can help me? Unfortunately, I couldn't find the Project on your Patreon. Again Thank you for your work.😁

It worked for me as well! However, I had to restart this video and the previous one a couple of times at certain points because I made some mistakes. Thankfully, I was able to identify and correct them, and I updated my blueprint accordingly. I've been exploring blueprints for a year or two now, and although I'm still at a beginner level, I really enjoy it as a hobby! Thanks

I don’t know what is the issue you are receiving, sometime item on a map have 0,0 dimensions, you need to open a blueprint of an item and recompile it to make dimensions work correctly

if you cant find get socket location do this "get mesh from character then type in get socket location use the one under transform NOT the skeletal mesh one." for some reason ue would say it was out of context unless i did it this way.

@Dengojaba im having an issue where slots seem to have an item in the slot but there is no item present any ideas? example slot 1 row 1 will have an item fully but slot 2 row 1 will have an item in the index but no item (no item nothing to drag and drop but debug shows there's an item at the index) whereas slot 1 row 2 will have an item and slot 2 row 2 will have the index but no item

@@Dengojaba is this bug looked at in the other tutorials? I've finished up to part 7 and have found that if I move the item in slot one it will revert to normal so it seems like itd be a computation bug with the initial item creation

Hello, I was following your tutorial 1:1 when at 8:45 i got two error reports: Blueprint runtime error: "Accessed None while trying to read property CallFunc_Array_Get_Item". Node: Branch? Graph: GetAllContainerItems Function: Get All Container Items Blueprint: BPC_SpatialInventory and (everything is blurred and i cannot see the inventory) "Accessed None while trying to read property Item". Node: Branch? Graph: ForEachLoop Function: Execute_Ubergraph WB_Container Blueprint: WB_Container\ i was watching the video multiple times to spot the bug and the only diffrence i saw, is that mine "get usable" has a yellow, warning sign under it. It says it was cut (?) because its not connected. Both: blue and red "cables" are connected. Blue with Cell and Red with index. Only Top, white cables arent connected. I hope you can help me, because thats my dream inventory.

@dengojaba having a problem around 38:29 the result branch on "can add item to inventory" causes the player not to pick up after break pointing the whole length of code I've located the issue at the beginning pf "has space for item in cell" our get dimensions for the cell and item don't provide any debug data causing the branch to return false. not really sure where to go next.

Hey, thanks for this great tutorial. Do you remember what tree assets you used? The ones I found from Quixel Bridge have an issue. The very bottom of the trunk becomes wavy, and it is shaking very obviously, ruining everything.
