I seem to have a problem with Server and Owner canceling each other out 38:30 any idea why?

not sure why he made it that way other than outdated logic.. the solution is to have owner rotate go into rotate server rotate into owner rotate finally rotate item into server rotate

​ @Dengojaba Hi, thanks so much for your tutorials! I must have missed something, and I still don't have pictures of items displayed. I found out that in WB_ContainerItem ( Refresh) from Get Dimensions Y comes the value 0. Maybe that's the reason, but I can't understand how it happens and where I made a mistake, maybe you have encountered such a problem? Thanks!

I really love this inventory system for the game I'm working on.. the math is a little weird, though. Explaining my problem might help me solve it. So here it is. I have a problem I've been working on for a while, this particular problem is: when adding things to the inventory everything works properly, but when drag/dropping.. if the inventory is a square, it works fine. But if its like 5 rows x 10 columns, and I drop an item in the 2nd row, 5th column, it will appear at the 1st row, 10th column. But drag/drop isn't detecting anything if I try to drop an item anywhere past 5 columns. At first I thought that you would have the same issue. But then I tried 4 2x1 cells like your debug inventory here is, it doesn't detect the 2nd row at all. It doesnt highlight green or red when dragged over it. But items get added to the slot when you pick them up and it's next. I'm not necessarily asking for help, I do want to figure it out and I'll respond to this when I do.. for anyone else having similar problems. But if anyone has any ideas on what I might have done wrong, it would be appreciated.

Hey. This is a nice tutorial. The only gripe i have with this video section is the fact you use 2 different images for the rotated item.. Why not use the built in Widget function "Set Render Transform Angle" and rotate the image used by the item? I compare this with another inventory i have where this is implemented and it feels much more flexible this way + it get's insanely intensive to add 4 images of each item if you want the ability to rotate the item in 4 directions. Was looking through another Inventory system I downloaded and noticed they used Widget Animation, fairly certain they only used one image. Going to try and implement that as the instant rotation is a little lack luster. Rank1OrMcDonald is the channel I got it from.

I'm halfway through the video, when we pick up a 2x2 object, but for some reason, it seems to treat index 2 (2nd row 1st cell) as empty (all other indices are fine), so when I pick up a 1x1 object, it puts it there. I don't know if this is a bug you have as well or if I made a mistake somewhere. Could you please take a look, because if so, I'll have to find out what I did wrong. (Apologies if it's a bug and you fix it later, but I haven't looked any further yet).

One more observation: If I drag and drop an object and put it back in its original place (2x2), it still shows index 3 as occupied, but only if I pick it up from index 2 and not from the others.

Yeah, we will fix these issues later, unfortunately it took a time for me to recognize these issues during a creation of tutorial

@@Dengojaba Okay, great! I just didn't know if it was my mistake or a bug on your end. But then I won't look any further for a solution, although I've already roughly figured out where the source of the error is, just haven't figured out the solution yet :D

Unfortunately I don't have enough resources to fully reinvent EFT, but I'm inspired with Tarkov mechanics and logic and will try to implement part of them in my project)

I'm creating a game in medieval style, if you have medieval weapons, clothes(with or without rigs), lootable props that would be great I don't have a discord channel, but maybe will create it soon
