Coming from Atlanta and NYC, Dallas definitely seems more urban to me. Its way more walkable (Deep Ellum, Bishop Arts, Lower Greenville, Uptown, Knox Henderson) and nightlife was great tbh, especially in your 30s. Most people who come to Dallas are in the suburbs and it's slower there. I think Houston is a great party city, but Dallas is very vibrant also.

Does Mansfield have a diverse feel to it?

After living in Jacksonville FL and Louisville Ky, I’m really feel Dallas or Ft Worth is going to be a breath of fresh air.

In Dallas during the winter, you can get a couple inches of snow, and then it will be 80 degrees the next day

North Fort Worth is a great place to live. If you’re interested in the area check out 1301 Canuela Way, Fort Worth, TX 76247 it’s located in Wildflower Ranch.

It heats up from June thru September in DFW.

Love, love, love the reality surrounding the severity of the situation. Don't quick your job! Because you know what I was about to do? Quick my job. But hearing you guys, I did a quick search and found my company has a branch near the Dallas area. And even if I chose to pivot into a different field once I get there, at least this current employer will afford me a few checks to help get me accumulated without worrying about shelter, food, gas, toilet tissue, and toothpaste.

I 100% Agree w/u Houston skyline to me is by far one of the best in the country Though I hear some claim Dallas skyline is nicer And on tht I have to beg to differ though it’s not bad looking it’s just nothing iconic And actually I think Dallas is one of the fewer cities tht doesn’t have a ferris wheel 🎡 to compliment its skyline I mean Houston has the Diving Bell Ferris Wheel,Chicago has the Centennial Wheel, Atl has the skyview wheel ,&& Miami has the Skyview Miami Observation Wheel amongst many other cities,Though I’ll say Dallas skyline is average at best but really wouldn’t go any further then tht!!!

I moved to Fort Worth from the mountain west for grad school. I’ll always miss the mountains, but interning in Dallas last summer made me incredibly patriotic about Fort Worth. Not at all keen on Dallas.
