Moved to another country and built a base for myself. It's a small but cool penthouse apartment that overlooks a courtyard of trees and lots of windows into other people's lives. I'm trying to find inspiration for my new novel here; working out and drinking volume coffee during days and prowling the streets for stories, having beers and watching strangers spend their simple days around me. This song echoes in my apartment every night as I try to find words and a new life.
