sometimes when u listen to a song that you like, it’s kind of like smoking a vintage cigarette that you’ve never wanted to finish it

I ended up here by searching for "jazz doom" because I play in a doom metal band and just watched the David Burns jazz documentary and got super stoked on jazz. I've been going on and on to my bandmates about how jazz is compatible with doom and now I'm trying to get them to play this on their guitars through their stacks to re-doomify it after jazzification!

@@LulaRMuniz well, sorry to be a downer, but the guitarist died in a fire shortly after I posted this & those of us still alive switched from playing doom metal to old-timey string band music

Many years ago I sat down in an abandoned church in Berlin, which is now being used as an event location. There was a piano tuner at work. I sat there for at least an hour. But it could have been many hours. Completely timeless. This minimal soundscape and the sacred location are a lifelong memory for me. Bohren before Bohren even existed. An incredible experience

I told myself this would be a good day and then I see you guys posted a new song. I love this song, it is so mellow, comforting, and has a sense of nostalgia but also renewal at the same time. I love it.

The living room was still stuffy from last night's cigars. The windows were closed and the sunshine coming in through the Venetian blinds showed up the dust in the air. On the piano, in couple of fancy frames, were Mr. Dietrichson and Lola, his daughter by his first wife. They had a bowl of those little red goldfish on the table behind the davenport, but, to tell you the truth, Keyes, I wasn't a whole lot interested in goldfish right then, nor in auto renewals, nor in Mr. Dietrichson and his daughter Lola. I was thinking about that dame upstairs, and the way she had looked at me, and I wanted to see her again, close, without that silly staircase between us.

I don't know where to write you, but I discovered that someone stole your track "On Demon Wings" and monetized it. Check out "Soul Trace - The Winding Path". I hope it's just a misunderstanding and you know about this accident.

Thank you so much! I'm aware that schön is so widely used, which is why I didn't want to use it there; I feel like "lovely" is a really special word, used sparsely, for wonders such as this. But as you said, even that's subjective.
