My condolences. I had not yet gotten around to reading them, but a lot of my friends are just destroyed by the news.

In my country, being a 'free spirit' has now become having a mental disorder. Mental wellness has become such a big thing that people have forgotten what happiness and expression look like. I have been so afraid to express myself of late. Doctors wanted to medicate me for singing and dancing, for having the sense to buy a motor home and drive across the country with my dogs. I miss being free.

What a great series! John Hurt blew my mind with his acting - and he was already among the finest actors in the UK on that set!

I saw this sketch for the first time today (well several times now!). The tears were rolling down my face for ages afterwards. It has been a while that I have seen enjoyed real humour since TV channels have become so sanitized and politically correct.

The film is one of the best I've ever seen. As a film about the nuclear holocaust it's the best - and the only one to show the effects of urban fires and most importantly mercy killings.
