Ah, Our Dear Fran. She was/is still, so smart and thought provoking. She gets even better with age.

Fran Lebowitz is directly responsible for helping me hang on to what marbles I have left over these last years. She is the smartest person in the universe! And one of the funniest. By the way, I don't know who this interviewer is, she may be famous but I'm really not into most pop culture, but she's wonderful and I love not only her questions but her obvious delight in Fran's answers.

8:36 The interviewer's last question: "...is Fran Lebowitz a public intellectual or a great raconteur...?" In CC subtitles "raconteur" is interpreted as "wreck on tour" which would probably greatly amuse Fran if she only knew🤫

7:45 I think the host was expecting a different answer from Fran, meaning she was referring to the announcements about COVID-19 and masks on the subway. Fran took it a slightly different way.

Oh she would hate that I bet she’s angry about it. She loves books and has like 20 thousand books and collects them. She likes children books a lot too. So I bet she is infuriated by this. I would like to know too.

I agree cancel culture is so dumb. Everything is so sensitive now. I like Fran. I like strange edgy dark people lol. Where nothing is taboo. The generations are so soft now it’s gross

I assume Fran's NY apartment is big enough to take in some of the border crossing babies. I fear they might fall in wrong hands...100x1000s of them+. I'm guilt free. I'm independent voter, would never vote for any 80 yr olds... Politics aside, Fran shall remain one of my favorite public figures.💖

As much as I love her I am afraid it would be cruel punishment. The woman smokes non stop and indoors. She reminds of my mom who would have smoked in your sleep if someone would have held them.
