Such a nice cover. Hard to get it to match the exact tone of Tony Iommi. He uses a lot of staccato eighth notes and quarter notes, and during the solo in the intro, you need a lot of vibrato on the bends and you need to bend DOWN not up while decreasing pitch. Those little bends is what makes that solo so iconic

Wow! There’s a lot of posts 1yr, 2yr ago…how have I missed this. Machine Gun has been a massive favourite of mine for ‘donkeys’ years! There are countless versions on YT and almost without exception, they are not as good as comments make you believe. Having been a guitarist for 50+ year, a poor version is blatantly obvious. However, this version is arguably the best I’ve come across. It’s not just playing the notes, its the other aspects that make the song. You have all the nuances, tonal changes, fast/slow/rests all making the playing so good. Congrats for an excellent job, played with all the feeling that is required. Great stuff👍😎👍
