@@BrewCityRider OK. I remember KR as a good motorcycle route west during my UW-Parkside days in the 1970s, although Braun Road and Hwy A were more scenic. Didn't they mess up Braun Road too? Video that too if you can. At least Hwy A is still the same, right? Gets you out towards Bong and the gnarly oak western county. Did you see that the famous 1880s Meinhardt mansion in Burlington burned? Ride safe!

At the College i went to; they trained us to crack loose this fastener then tighten it back down a little, then blow off any sand /dirt clean it good; then remove... you see when you crack it loose, then you have abrasive seeds hanging on... same with Spark Plugs, same procedure; the Teacher was very strict on this practice... i moved on to government Aircraft and took this to another level...

So glad I found this video. I have a rear solid disc wheel, like yours, on my Night Train, and I was wondering if this machine could be used. Now I know! Thanks! 😁 Just FYI, in case you haven''t already noticed: if you put the spacer in before trying to break the bead, the wheel won't move when you're putting pressure on the handle, giving you more leverage. Cheers!

It looked as if the hole was threaded from the get go? Why would you not use the same thread gauge/pitch to prevent the chance of cross threading when tapping? Do you know what that thread was?
