Very informative. I was planning on looking into this when I had time. Is the Orange Pi zero faster than the Raspberry Pi zero? Also, how is the hash rate compared to an old junk phone for mining? Love the videos as always.

Thanks Chuckles!! I believe the performance of the Orange Pi Zero 2W is a bit better than the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W and the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W has only 512MB SDRAM. Another thing is that I don't know if the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W has the cryptography extensions which are needed to run the Verus algorithm. By the way, the most 64bit junk phones will perform better. The Orange Pi Zero 2W is doing 1.8 Mh while I have an old Samsung S6 which is doing 2.4 Mh at the moment and a Samsung A40 which is doing 3.5 MH. But they are using about 3.5 watts and the Orange Pi Zero 2W is using around 1.2 watts while mining.

@@BloxyLabs Thanks for the info. I looked into it and you are correct about the rasp pi zero being a lot slower . I also noticed that they have a Radxa Zero 3W that is out and about the same price. I will do some research into them both and see what I will got with. It will probably be next month since I will be busy with irl stuff this month.

It creates its own WiFi network. So you will see a Nerdminer network when you scan for WiFi networks.

So right now, add vDEX and vARRR to same wallet R address as mining to..same R address as given to pool or as solo. Then vDEX and vARRR just show in wallet, accumulating. Be sure the pool website says they offer merge mining, or verus website listing all the vrsc pools shows a given pool supports merge mining

How can i use the pi without to login via putty. I use a raspberry pi 2b+. Because Honeygain only works when i login in putty and write the code u write in the video... But is there a chance to work 24/7 without to login to the pi

@NinetoFive957 Hi, you can also let it run when you exit your Pi by using the -d option in the run command (in this case you don't need screen). The command to run HoneyGain must then be: docker run -d honeygain/honeygain -tou-accept -email ACCOUNT_EMAIL -pass ACCOUNT_PASSWORD -device DEVICE_NAME I hope this will work for you.

First of all, sorry for my terrible English! Thank you very much for the video! One important thing was left out of the command line. At least for me, based on the video, it didn't import the wallet address. I think the correct command line is: run importprivkey "YOURPRIVATEKEY" The privatkey must be entered between " ".

Hi! Go is the desktop wallet to the mining tab en choose vDEX. There you can put staking on. Your wallet must always be open to stake. If you close the wallet or power off your computer staking stops.

Hello Im running into this issue: So i loaded micropython to my new picos and they work with thonny, so i tried loading the arduino code to pico as in the video, but ii always got this error: Sketch uses 55588 bytes (2%) of program storage space. Resetting /dev/ttyACM0 Converting to uf2, output size: 146944, start address: 0x2000 Scanning for RP2040 devices No drive to deploy. Failed uploading: uploading error: exit status 1 (On pop-os, I also tried windows... The same problem)

No Unfortunately not. You need a Raspberry Pi 5, Orange Pi 5 or an Orange pi zero 3. But you can do other nice things with a Raspberry Pi 4 ;) Check my other videos for ideas.

No Unfortunately not. You need a Raspberry Pi 5, Orange Pi 5 or an Orange pi zero 3. But you can do other nice things with a Raspberry Pi 3 and 4 ;) Check my other videos.

After flashing the ESP32 it creates its own WIFI network. You have to connect to this network and eneter your own WIFI credentials and your wallet address, pool address etc.. If you can get to the configuration screen go manual to 192.168.4.1 in your browser (after connecting to the WIFI network of the Nerdminer).
