Those were the days...

I'm 78 & never saw a "sketch" like this on American t.v. in the 1960's! This shows how 'advanced' British t.v. was, then, in terms of nudity & risque situations! Even today, on commercial t.v., we've never caught up! p.s. Was this 'sketch' shot silent & the 'sound' portion added later?

I learned to drive in one of those in 1974, excellent little beastie and really 'forgiving' for learners, an easy drive. 1 hour before my test the driving school changed the car for an Allegro 1100! Still with the clear plastic over the seats. It was a nasty, horrible thing and you could tell straight away it wasn't properly developed...let alone properly built. A real step backwards in so many ways. I managed to pass though.
