I bought a Toblerone today and sang this in my head as I wandered around the store. I remember this as a small child of 4 or 5 in around '74/'75. Not heard it since, but remembered it word for word and remember the animation of them chasing a Toblerone with a net like it was yesterday. I just had to find it. Many thanks for the nostalgic trip back to my childhood days.

Thank you for uploading this. I have not seen this advert for 48 years. I notice it's marked as 1978, i can't remember if this particular ad for Toblerone was still being shown on British television in 1978, but I definitely first saw it on British television in 1974. I agree, with the comments here - pure golden memories.

Like others remember the tune and some of the lyrics (but not the animation though): "Toblerone, out on its own, triangular chocolate, that's Toblerone" and at the end, "Give me Toblerone". Plus whenever I hear about the cricketer Toby Roland-Jones, I immediately call him "Toblerone Jones" and sing some of the song!

It’s Sat 8 Jan 2022 and I’ve been singing along to this theme tune 🎶 in my head, every day, since I bought a Christmas 🎄 Tolberone multipack (in Dec 21). When I reach for it, when I eat it, when I see it, before I go to bed, when I’m wake up 😅 So I thought I’d find the ad from childhood, sing along and hopefully I can get some sleep 😴 But, I think I’ve made it worse so … no sleep for me until 2023 🙃

I'm 60 and haven't had any Tobblers for a few years, so I've just bought a big 360g bar (today...10 Nov 23) and had a moment of reminiscence, a zippidy-dibbit of nostalgia and searched KZbin for this commercial...and here it is! I remembered the chords from 45 years ago! Amazing how an old ad can stick in memory, (Like Cadbury's Fudge...do you remember it? With two lads playing conkers? lol) of course, you'll never forget Toblerone, always a treat, beautiful Swiss choccy that's never been altered since its launch in 1908...as far as I know. It still tastes the same as it did all those years ago. 🎵Thats Toblerone! 🎶

I build radio control model aircraft, and have a couple of huge Toblerone boxes filled with cement and with rope attached, to hold the wheels when starting...of course, "Chocks away"

I loved this advert when I was a small child and would sing and dance to it (probably drove my parents mad) but on rewatching many years later I recognise the illustrations of the people they look very familiar. Like a well known cartoonist or illustrator of the time, possibly Allan Ahlberg who did the children's books. Anyone have any idea?
