Have been to the Grande St. Lucian last year. Now considering Grenada or Antigua. How do they compare to the Grande? Great beach, shade on the beach, superior food, mid size, safe island overall are priorities. Also any other non-Sandals all inclusives on St. Lucia that are at least as nice as the Grande?

It was a pleasure meeting you both there this past summer while you were staying there unfortunately my wife and I didn't have a good time we were put in a room that was far from amenities she's disabled and they all knew that as well management team there was frankly a joke they were both rude and condescending on top of that as you might remember there was no Wi-Fi for the majority of our stay or cable TV I'm not sure if you remember the fire alarm going off which was our last day there so no one got any sleep I certainly would never stay at this place again however it was truly a pleasure meeting you both you two are awesome

Hey! It was great meeting you! We let the fire alarm and WiFi slide since they were still dealing with the repercussions of the hurricane, but that is disappointing that they were not able to better accommodate you, especially since they seemed to be very low occupancy.

Emerald Bay is better....because Great Exuma is one of the most beautiful places on earth-equal to places in the South Pacific IMHO. Unfortunately, Sandals closed EB in Aug, and will be reopening it as a Beaches branded resort in the future.

Unfortunately Butch passed away. Grenada was our personal get away. Prior to the hurricane it was not up to Par. The staffing is always extraordinary. There were 2 ambassador's on grounds at the time. They agreed. We have many local friends. Will be at Margaritaville in Puerto Rico's beachfront resort this trip. Maybe next time.

We went to Beaches for swimming. Awesome. AND right next door to Couples Negril. We stayed there and the only thing we liked was the beach. Stay at Sandals

We are going on our first Sandals trip Sept 9-13 (it was cheapest time of year for rooms and flights for us)...we opted for the Club Level oceanfront tranquility tub suite in the Almond building. We are hoping we can have a quiet romantic trip (first vacation in 10 years) we aren't the partying sort of people. Also hoping our balcony is not directly over Tokyo Joes or the Wedding chapel so we put in a request for a room closer to 320 than down the line. I keep seeing pictures of all the cats at the resort...a beach with kitties? That's the place for me 💖 Fingers crossed for short rain storms and no hurricane activity! 😂

It’s also a great time for lower occupancy so it shouldn’t be crowded! So there’s a better chance they can accommodate your preferences.

The boat is way better. The boat ride we did was part of the Ricks Cafe excursion, but the water sports team will take you snorkeling in the same place, and that is included in your stay.

What do you think of the travel restriction level 3 that US released recently in June? It looks like you guys traveled there pretty recently, is it safe?

We have gone to Jamaica several times and have always felt safe. It’s actually been a level 3 for years, the recent changes just added more info.

Jamaican here......I can assure you as a local that it is VERY safe. That's the tourist side of the island too so people won't trouble you. Now if you're visiting for the first time on the other side of the island, the part they don't show on TV, then travel with a local and even still, it's safe.

There is a clinic that takes care of neutering and I know they get a lot of treats from guests, but not sure beyond that. They do seem healthy.

What they starting doing is charge for pergolas and i just rested for 3 min. Nobody was aroound.. nap time before dinner + i was leaped upon a worker that wanted money + i said i was resting for a min. She said i had to leave if i didn't want to rent. I felt so uncomfortable. Im full of arthritis and I have a hard time made me feel so bad about myself.

Went to negril. I cant drink alcohol+ in order to get non alcohol beer. They wouldnt help. Told me i had to go out of resort + get my own beer. Really classy right ? Cost me $50 to order a taxie to get me some + tip. They are very condescending people that work there. Beware!

We have been going for many years. Since BUTCH has passed it went way way down hill. Negril , terrible service + food. Definitely do research.
