We just stayed there for 5 days on the luxury side and enjoyed our stay however there were a few issues . The pool closes at 6 pm which kinda sucks but the beach is open all night . Also the luxury side is adults only and more expensive but all the activities such as drunk karaoke and the bahia village and majority of the souvenir shops is on the kids side . Also those who stay on the grand kids side still have access to all the specialty restaurants on the luxury side . It’s basically like what’s the point of paying for luxury if we’re not getting paid it ? And the employees beg for tips daily , it’s draining and overwhelming

I’ve been twice. The pool bar is where all the magic happens. Easy to get a driver and go to Montego bay or Ochoa rios. Food was really good, the price is very affordable compared to places with similar amenities. It’s a big party on the adult side. I’d go again.

I appreciate this review of this resort. We are booked to be there in mid Febuary and I had lots of questions. Did you have issues with there being no wash rags or no servers to serve food at the buffet?

Not really, maybe a little lacking in service during the lunch buffet but didn't have any service issues.

This resort is a disaster. Workers constantly begging for tips, entering rooms unannounced. You will be cat called if you are a woman. Poor service, no WiFi, bug and roaches in food. My friend literally ate a Roach that was cooked into her food. This is not 5 star hotel nor is any side luxury. Do not go here and look at the 1 star reviews. Don’t trust the 5 start reviews because they are fake. Most of the reviewers have never reviewed any other place before. Most importantly this place is dirty and not safe.

@@tawoliyi90 I just got back. I was there from 12/27 - 1/4. This wasn't my experience at all. Not once did a worker beg for a tip. As a matter of fact, many would act surprised when you gave them one. Didn't see anyone cat called, and my (very pretty daughters) weren't catcalled once. I didn't see a single roach my entire time. If you eat at the outdoor buffets, then you will definitely see some flies around the food, but no roaches. The pool is one of the cleanest resort pools I've ever been in. Never once felt unsafe on property. The food was good. Far better than the Dominican Republic. My only issue was with the service. Some of the workers, like Vincent at the towel hut, are super friendly and obviously love their jobs. Others are very curt and seem to be annoyed by your presence. It did seem to get worse, especially at the pool bars as the day went on. They probably are just getting tired and annoyed with demanding, entitled people.

When are the Portugal life vids coming back? I don't think many of your subscribers are interested in cheesy, all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean. The kinds of people that go to such places for vacation are not the same kinds of people that up and move to Portugal.

Yes, they have a DJ going most of the time and have regular activities throughout the day and evening.

They have a “club” at night and I believe sometimes they do things in there market square. Mind you I went during hero’s day
