(That infra manager 😅 the resion of the security control and Atocha caotic bordings) 12:51 the lugage is somenthing Renfe Cant do anything about it the S103 has pretty BIG lugage Spaces and lugage polecy on The AVE product is quite generous 2 pices of lugage per person or 3 compared to Renfe Low Cost product Avlo which allows for 1 pice and Ouigo from the French It would be a bad idea to have a lugage coach since that will rise up more the price of the ticket. 13:30 about the good meals depends of the time Iryo Meriedas is verry tiny just like Renfe its 2 mini boild egg some Rucula and 2 thin sices of Salmon (that you could buy in the Supermarket) If you want a good meal on Spanish HS plese check the departure times (: (On Alvia AVE (Ave INT to) and Intercity trains) there caled "Menu Box" On both operatos if you have a frist class fare you can order pay food Ilsa (Iryo) its the Meat with beans and smash potatos Salmon salad And Iberic menu if im not wrong On Renfe Its Salmon (also) Salmon poke Iberic menu Cesar salad And among other more basic foods (: The site 😅 on my its a nacional meme the Spanish Tp mintery gives a 4/10 on the site so Imagine the frustration on many poeple.😂 There will be fixed about the Cercanías machine I would to hear more details about that 🙂 15:15 89 EUROS FOR THAT JOURNEY!!!! that pretty expensive you must had bougth a full train almost. Next time try other routes for exaple the Levante corridor for 44 euos you have the same class of travel on timetables with proper food and biger liunges (Joaquin Sorolla stations at Valencia has clun lounge of 2 floors!!!!!) And Malaga club louge is at the top of a big shoping center with views on the train!!!! If you read to end congrats and Gracias. I hope that you will consider triying the ALVIAS trains which are trains that can change gauge and are really nice 🙂

The food you got looks like the box menu, which is what you get if you add a meal to the other options. I don't know why you got that but I recommend specifying the the om meal you want when booking the ticket (you have a personalization button on the personal detail section). In any case if such a thing happens you should contact them and file a complaint. I found that the service itself is usually good. Price depends on demand and you can usually find cheaper fares in different hours and much cheaper in the low cost ones. The entertainment system works and you can get basic headphones in the cafe car. As for the ride, the complaints about less smooth rides is usually on the Talgo trains that might have a bit more movement due to their unique structure (short cars with a single-axle bogie between the cars). personally I have no problem with those trains. The Renfe website is not great, and it's much better now that how it used to be a few years ago. They are going through major changes in management and hopefully they will improve. The main advantage of Renfe is the amount of trains they provide. Currently, for dull service (not the low cost options) Iryo is better. As for the view, it depends on the season but that's not a desert, it's semi-arid.

It's a shame about the meal. I had a really nice meal on the AVE from Figueres-Zaragoza, with three courses and wine etc. (Although they only started serving me about 20 minutes before arrival!) I think you can tell from your ticket - it will show Merienda if it's only a snack box. (I don't know if you can find out before purchase.) By contrast, on Iryo they didn't have a proper breakfast for me because I booked 'too late' (actually over 24h before departure), which was poor.

Hey Markus, Traveled with RENFE last year Zaragoza to Barcelona it was ok! My go to now is Ouigo fantastic! Barcelona to Zaragoza was brilliant! Sorry RENFE! 😮

Great video! I travelled on AVE trains in Spain in First class. And all ( yes all i met) Renfe staff where uninterested, unfriendly and unhelpfull. The hard product is fine.😮 The food was also low quality especially this lunchbox like you had.

Total lie!!!!! we are from the US and took the round trip cruise it was one of the best most memorable cruises we ever took... the staff on board was wonderful this is an expedition ship with about 250 people not luxury cruise line with 2500 to 5000 people.... Food was wonderful and met wonderful people from many countries. Room was great and so were the excursions. Also you are wrong about the info for the northern lights... must not have ask... they has a tv screen on the decks to show round the clock the rotation of the magnetic field and if you leave the speaker on in your room they will alert you no matter what time of day or night they can be seen, oh and by the way we were on the same ship so take the whole cruise before you review the whole trip!!!!!!

A family member booked this trip, and while preparing for the trip, I ran across this video. I really hoped it was off the mark, but having just returned from the trip, I can say the criticism was spot on. For the people who say "it's a ferry, not a cruise" (in fact this is Hurtigruten's own line), I would say that is EXACTLY the issue. The ship stops for under an hour in most ports. For the major towns we would have been interested, the ship stopped after midnight (Tromso), or in the early hours of the morning, where nothing is open. When the ship is running late, they will cancel excursions (no refund, only onboard credit) or cancel stops all together. So you will actually see very little of Norway on this trip. So given all that, you would hope the on-board experience would be excellent. It is not. The cabins are cramped and uncomfortable. The food is so-so. Everything is staggeringly expensive. Use it to get from point to point? Sure, you are working with the purpose of the route. Sleep on board? No. There are simply much better ways to travel.

Thanks Markus for promoting Göteborg in a very positive way! Personally, I not a Strawberry fan, eg Clarion for example, due to I collect nights at Scandic and do prefer their hotels in Scandinavia. I live in Eriksberg, 1 km west from Karlatornet/Lindholmen and I do agree with you. Stay in central/downtown GBG if not here for business at Lindholmen. The main reason for hotel here is that many Chinese & Indian people come here for work at Geely and their companies, eg Volvo Cars, etc. A fantastic way for tourist to visit Lindholmen/Eriksberg is to use the ticket free (green flag) ferry to/from Stenpiren-Lindholmen and take walk along the river to the gantry crane at Eriksberg. Many nice small restaurants and coffe bars are here. Next time in GBG give me a notice and we might have lunch (Wed-Fri) at THE very best restaurant I town - Human. I you are a kind of a foodie you will be very pleased!

Is coffee on board included in the package?

I've taken many Hurtigruten cruises and in every way that you can imagine they have the best ships and service I've experienced. Something is Really Wrong with this Man. Also, everyone I know who has cruised with Hurtigruten also agrees that Hurtigruten is the BEST! Life does not get better than on a Hurtigruten ship! Everything is terrific with Hurtigruten. The service is amazing and they book your flights and airport to ship transport.

People sleep on breakfast amenities at hotels. I stayed at a hotel on Södermalm a few years ago. It was very hipsterish. Anyway, while breakfast was technically included in the price, the seating was 100% occupied for the entire duration.

Regarding immigration at O'Hare - it's horrific! ORD is my home base and even with Global Entry, it takes waaaaaaaaaay toooooooo long! Flight arrivals aren't a surprise, so why aren't more lanes staffed? A few summers ago, when luggage went missing, customs at ORD was up to 4 hours! As I waited for my suitcase, I saw many luggage claim areas with flights of luggage that either went around and around OR were piled up in that area. Earlier this month, Global Entry took about 1/2 hour to make it to the nano second check. REALLY ORD?

Thank you an informative video. Your observations and comments match what I hope to be true because we will be taking the Capella from Bergen to Kirkenes in Sept. 2025. I did find some differences in the booking experience than you. First, I found that when I used a VPN server located in Oslo and priced the cruise in NOK (using my VISA exchange rate); the cruise was ~$400 less expensive than without the VPN and priced in Dollars. I also fould it irritating that on just a Northbound voyage, we could not select even the deck of the Seaview Superior Double cabin nor able to ask for a cabin near midship (on a round trip the cabin # selection is available). I understand that round trip should be given priority but not being able to select anything about the cabin location was irritating almost to the point that we were not going to make the reservation. Our trip will also include 8 days exploring the fjords and waterfalls in the area between Bergen, Flam and south east of Bergen. Then we hope to see Auroras in the 6 nights we spend around Ivalo Finland; finishing up with severals days in Oslo.

Due to Chinese APP "Red Book", almost all Chinese tourists have known about the different price between Norwegian and others. The difference on my travel is Norwegian $1250 vs US $5000, 1:4. However, American are too rich and weak on math, so I totally agree with imposing an IQ tax on them. 🤣🤣

Flying Zurich to Miami on the worst airline ever, I can't believe I paid all this money for this, they truly believe someone can be on a plane like this...travel business for the first and definitely last time on this travesty of airline, no food, no water, no drinks on a 10 hours business class fly. Pathetic. I fly with my kids and they have to endure the most racist behavior from the fly attendants.

I was creating my itinerary on the StarAlliance website. I needed inspiration for the destination. Opened youtube and found your video. Went back to the StarAlliance tab and closed it. I'm in Geneva, an ex-airliner for more than 15 years and I'm not surprised as Travel agencies themselve, who get incentives from airlines to promote this product are having similar issue when issuing the ticket and pricing it. hm, the video starts with a wrong information, i.e. that the trip Bergen - Kirkenes - Bergen would be two weeks. In fact, it is 11 days, and it's NOT 7 days to Kirkenes either, but 5 1/2 days. So much for that. Maybe that tells you something about the accuracy of the rest of the video ... he goes on ssayig postive things about his cabin, the food and so son ... but then complains about the price .... what an awkward littel film.
