Hello Henry. Thanks for this walk, I enjoyed it. Nice to see a city being used by its citizens. Have you encountered a large European city that didn't feel like people were fully partaking of city life? I think there are some US cities that just feel like the downtowns are places for people in the finance industry to go work in a tall building, then drive home. Hope you are coping with the wildfires ok. We have a bit of smoke from Canada here, but it is minor. Take care.
@CityWalks23 сағат бұрын
Hi Tom, I really haven’t found a European city like that. I guess I’ll have to keep looking to be sure.😀 I have gotten many comments about American cities, asking where all the people are if I film on a weekend. They tend to empty out pretty quickly outside of business hours, unless there is an entertainment aspect downtown as well. We have had some pretty bad smoke here lately and a bunch of fires to our west. Yesterday it all miraculously cleared out for a bit though there’s some haze today. It was a nice relief. Thanks for your wonderful, thought-provoking comments and questions. All the best. - H.

Just 50 minutes north of CDA is a beautiful resort town called "Sandpoint." it is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful towns in Idaho. You should totally check it out. It's prettiest in Fall, between late September and early October.

I think I would choose Wengen. It is much quieter and calmer than a lotLauterbrunnen but only a short train ride away. Also, the views are incredible from up there. You cannot drive your car up there though so keep that in mind. Although you can go up and over to get to Grindelwald, you basically go through interlaken to get anywhere else in the region. I envy you getting to go there. We spent a month and it was absolutely magical. -H

@CityWalks15 күн бұрын
Ha ha ha ha. No, not even close. We have almost no humidity out here most of the time and it is much better than back east and that regards. Especially if you are in the shade. However, being in the direct sun is worse in someways because we have so much less atmosphere to protect us up here.- H

They have a lot more pixels and they have to be stitched together, then colorgrade, then recompressed. Also, they tend to be recorded in H.265. All of this takes a ton of computer power and time. Especially since the typical video software doesn't really handle equirectangular footage that well. I'm looking forward to seeing if I can get my hands on the X4 and I just got a newer computer which could hopefully speed things up. Great question and thanks for the interest. -H
