Every life matters, and we are deeply loved by our Heavenly Father, God. He cares for each one of us from the womb to the tomb. It includes things like sexual immorality, idolatry, addictions, drunkenness, lying, unforgiveness, and much more-sins that separate us from God. But the call to salvation is for everyone. Regardless of wealth, status, sexual orientation, or religious background, Jesus invites you to turn from sin and accept His gift of salvation. There’s nothing we can do to earn it; salvation is by grace alone, not through good works. Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross so we could be restored to God. He was crucified, with nails driven through His hands and feet, a crown of thorns on His head, and He died for our sins. But three days later, He rose from the dead-Jesus is alive! Now is the time to respond. Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” It’s not the prayer itself that saves you; it’s the belief, repentance, and trust in Jesus. He is returning soon, and we must be ready to give an account. So, turn from darkness to light, from sin to salvation, and follow Jesus. Confess your sins, repent, and start living a righteous life trusting in Him daily. Ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit, read your Bible, and stay connected to God in prayer. He’s waiting with open arms. Embrace His love and gift of eternal life today!

Philip looks like he has a chance of happiness for most of the rest of his days. What about someone who is dying in pain? Or brain dead? We should have the choice.

Let's take the example of Belgium: 10 years after the legalization of euthanasia, the law (which was said to provide serious guidelines) was modified to allow the euthanasia of children suffering from incurable illnesses, regardless of their age… And even young girls who felt depressed have gone through assisted suicide and not only have they forsaken the hope and future future that God had planned for them here but they are also doomed for all eternity, cut off from God who is the only source of love, joy and peace… And it is is not only about them, it is also about their families, having no hope to ever seeing them again because they are lost…

Actually, the safeguards that were put in place for legal abortions have disappeared. You can now get pills by post to have a do-it-yourself abortion at home without any medical examination at all. What makes the government think the same thing won't happen with this end of life bill? As a nurse and midwife I have seen many scenarios over the years. My firm belief is that God made us and our times are in His hands, not the hands of the government, doctors who think they can guess how long people are going to live, or even our own hands. I think it's so sad that the lady wants to die when she doesn't realise that she would fall into the hands of the living God and face justice rather than mercy through Christ. It will be a greater suffering than she knows now. May God yet have mercy and save her. May He give her a change of heart. 🙏🏻

Sadly the vote is for this to happen, but it is not the end of this fight. At one stage we were told my mother would not make it through the night. Thanks to prayer she had a wonderful 5 more years of a good and happy life, what a blessing that was to all her family. We never know what may happen. I have a friend with incurable cancer, just celebrating her 80th birthday, the tumour has stopped growing and she feels great and happy to be alive. Not everyone has this outcome I know, that's why we need to invest in our hospices and end of life care far more.

Jesus bless this man and his wife. Thank you for using them before you bring him home. Thank you Christian Concern for being a voice of righteousness.
