There are so many Facebook groups for people who have experienced loss, people who love movies, travel, line dancing, dinner clubs, book clubs, etc. There’s also Meetups on a wide range of interests. My family is really small so our holiday gatherings are pretty chill which I enjoy. We enjoy a good meal, chit chat, and watch movies. I’d love for us to travel somewhere for the holidays & might look into a timeshare. I hope you meet a good group of people to spend time with. The best friends can become family. 😊

I think women have been trained to devalue and dehumanize men. They've been told that their value lies in the economic and sexual contribution to society. And since they've been told that men offer nothing more that dick, money and attention, where all of which women have in abundance (Thanks simps) they see men as less valuable as partners, while their perceived demand equates to them thinking their value is higher than it really is as partners. So for a average lady, the average man is not enough. This effect is amplified by social media and dating apps. Where women have access to men they would not normally have access to. So as hard as that is to admit, we as men are not valued. And honestly, there is no reason to participate in a system where you are not valued and where you will receive nothing of value.

First you must accept, not fear, that all human relationships are temporarily and doomed to end one day, even if it means like your friend /family member passed away. It is not a bad thing actually that all beauty is temporarily, relationships are still worth pursuing for the joy and mutually shared connection. Most people are afraid of commitment because they are afraid of being left /losing that person, that's why they rather avoid genuinely connecting and have severe mental health issues due to loneliness. But what can you do? Not everyone has the perfect partner, most people cling on unhealthy relationships - so there isn't simply a someone for everyone. So don't feel it's a personal failure - most of adults these days are single. Nothing rare but normality

I’m 10 years past you making the same decision for the same reasons. One thing I can see from my self and other people’s relationships is that even with more options it can mean a lot more filtering work and women/people that seem good at the outside can bring a lot of problems.

Hey Justin my friend. Oh lordy. I hear a lot of folks say they are done dating. It's not like it use to be for sure. Being single is hard enough without having to deal with dating.
