I enjoyed filming this episode more than any other. I hope you get a sense of that when you watch!

this is one movie I can watch any time, any day. so full of humor, and also so much depth and comfort and transformation. "hey Victor, what about your Dad?" 😅 trust being built in such a difficult situation. "hey VIctor, do you know why your Dad really left?" - "He didn't mean to, Thomas." this is a concept we could all try to come to terms with. glad it means a lot to you as well. the books and stories are on my shelf but ive yet to fully delve in. first saw this movie in a humanities class at university. it was in a large lecture hall and yet just about everyone in that class was so blindsided- it became an all time fav. and that goes for anyone I've shown it to since. thank you for the analysis. I feel it's also a story about understanding our fathers - our parents- we are here because of them. our friendships, bonds, and trust, and accepting help, and about grieving, and making room for levity. and most of all, realizing there is always a lot of help.

This is an excellent breakdown. I can't think of another film that is so light-hearted and so deep at the same time. It does seem harder to get into a good book lately, I've been reading the same thrift store novel for a year and a half LOL. Thanks for watching this and the nice comment!

57 is almost spring weather this time of year! I know you looked amazing. I think it's the cut of the jacket and your hair that is so cool to me 🧡🧡

We never were a part of any "community" because my father, mother and I moved around so much cuz of financial reasons, so I grew up in a lot of different parts of Milwaukee, which, unfortunately, is one of the most segregated cities in the US! 😢 I wish that wasn't the case...

I've never been to Milwaukee but I have heard that fact before. You and I didn't make these rules but what's great is looking back together on how nostalgic growing up in the mid to late 1900s was. Yes, the kids are now calling it the 1900s 😆

Great review Justin. I have not seen this film, but definitely want to now. 👍I moved a lot my whole life so never really got the sense of community or of real family for that matter. I always craved that. Growing up as an only child and my parents divorcing when I was 5, I always felt isolated. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend. 🌴🏜️😃

Debbie! Thank you, believe it or not by this review the movie is a buddy roadtrip comedy 😆 I encourage you to check it out. It's one of those that teaches without teaching. I truly appreciate you!!
