It's really a shame that we europeans don't have this amount of car owners sharing videos. In europe we have 1,8 liter turbo engines or 2 liter tfsi engines. Petrol versions that is. And the 1,8 liter non tfsi is the one to go with, pretty reliable. So these videos seem such a waste of time because your American cars engines are always different and its really hard to find information here.

My 2015 honda crv has 175k miles on it i bought it at 136k from the original owner only have done a battery replacement and oil changes on it. Only other thing that’s been done to it other then brakes is the timing tensioner and gasket.

Fuel pump plastic elbow cracking and failing giving you a strong gasoline smell around the car. Failure is usually around 50K Miles.

Had a 2.0TS quattro w 220hp stock, flashed the ecu to 260hp, installed a cold air intake for some more turbo sound and gave it some exterior mods. AMAZING car, so incredibly comfy and fun to drive and honestly really fast. Changed the timing chain in the back, installed a new cam follower, a new engine snub mount and deleted the rear mufflers (which sounded amazing btw) with ZERO experience working on cars (i do however have alot of mechanical experince in other areas such as bicycles and contstruction) and i miss that car so fkn much. If you know how to screw and unscrew stuff, just look up videos on how to change these things, its not that hard! Incredible car, loved it to death <3

I’ve had my 2012 SEL for 8 years, it only had 10k when I bought it. 90k miles and counting. Bluetooth goes in and out and but it’s comfortable and still shines like new. No major mechanical issues other than maintenance.

2014 stx with the 5.0 been a very good truck for me so far, water pump replacement, shocks and U joints are the only real issues ive had which are all minor

The best sound besides plugging it in is to connect the wifi between the CarPlay and your phone. You don’t use the Bluetooth

I got a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL V6 3.0 L for the most part it's been really reliable for me besides for the Cosmetic issues that it has like the peeling paint I do not like that or the bit of rust that has popped up on the back but I bought it like that including the paint peeling now I didn't pay too much for my vehicle and it had about 200,000 some miles the only issue with mine is it makes a noise at the front left and the mechanic told me that there's nothing wrong with it so that's one flaw with my vehicle that I do not like other than that before that noise it was very reliable but in the winter time it definitely sounds different I don't know why but when you start it during cold weather it sounds like a truck to me 🤷 until it warms up

I have a 2014, E-400 and love the car. I am very meticulous with my scheduled maintenance, and have experienced very few unexpected issues. The OEM battery died, as they all eventually will do, but it just ceased functioning this year. I have had one oil leak, and one issue with the MBrace software not updating successfully. To date, that is the only unrepaired item since the functionality of MBrace seems unimportant to me at this point. I was slightly tapped by another vehicle on the rear bumper, poking a small hole, so I had the rear bumper replaced, as well as the front one replaced and the paint touched up at the same time. Otherwise, the exterior and interior are nearly flawless on this 82K mile sedan.

I love my truck, but I really wish I had a very nice Apple CarPlay set up in it. What I’m looking for, and I really am not too concerned about the cost as compared to buying a new vehicle, is a very wide high quality CarPlay receiver that I can put on my dash. I don’t want to replace my head unit. I’m sure there is a huge market looking for a high-end CarPlay device with very thin bezels, a beautiful screen, plenty of real estate, Bluetooth or even a professionally installed aux input, front and rear cameras, in a dash mount foreign factor. I’d pay $500-$1000 for something like this rather than being tempted by the newer vehicles that are so technically sexy.
