Adjusting spanner is only for emergency use if you are stuck and have no proper tools....good way to destroy bolt heads.

Why can't I find any info on the 2014 - LC models???? It's doing my head in. The filler and drain isn't there on these models.

What are the symptoms of bad spark plugs ? Is rough idle one ?
@JayBearjaysbigadventure
@JayBearjaysbigadventure 4 жыл бұрын
Rough idle can certainly be one, along with misfiring at high rpms/load. They can also make the bike harder to start in cold weather. -jaysbigadventure

You should make the lettering bigger I can still at times see what you are doing. And it's wise (and easier) to use a piece of tube (like a hose) that holds the spark plug by the side where the porcelain is while going in so that you feel the thread with your hand, once it's already in place you pull out the hose and tighten with a wrench, these bikes have the spark plugs placed horizontally but in cars it makes the job so much easier.

NEVER use an adjustable wrench on a metric bolt. Always use a high quality boxed in wrench. Just say’in 😉.

How do you like the Dominator R? Still working good? Do you need to adjust something else? It's too noisy?
@Theskelly70
@Theskelly70 5 жыл бұрын
I really liked the Dominator, no remapping needed, a much nicer sound than the stock can and I felt it gave the bike a wider power band. All that being said it was a bit oversized and I smashed it off dropping the bike on that side doing some enduro stuff.

@theskelly70 hi man long time subscriber here, just got a few questions... How do you waterproof your phone when going through those deep water crossings? Is it true you made this video and realised you were too much of a pussy and needed a smaller bike? Is it true you can see more heavy enduro action on my profile and on Insta @volkswhip? Also where's your torque wrench?

And yes, this person feels that the printed comments are enough but they are not by the amount of other posters who much further very clearly explain what needs to be done. I do hope my clear point is very well taken.

It is fantastic that others are explaining what needs to be done while the video is going and this person can't be bothered to explain, that is NOT something most of the rest of the video posters would do. Why bother to post the video if you are NOT GOING to explain what you are doing?

Very straight and to the point - thanks. For my two cents worth, I bought the Moto Hansa tool kit for the bike. I initially bought it as an emergency kit for touring however, the tools are so good, it is now my 'go to' kit for the GS (I have Snap on stuff otherwise and this kit is every bit as good!).

Thanks for posting the video, nicely done. I'll just add my 2 cents. Just changed the oil on my 2005 r1200gs. From what I've learned watching many you tube videos, you add the 4 litres of oil, the level should be at the top of the glass, then run the bike for a bit and check the level after a few minutes. The final level should be in the middle of the glass.
