i calculated a bit. Does it mean that a godpack weighs between 23,01 to 23,04 ? i mean its all theoratical. And good job ! Love this research.
@TheHungryMechanic5 күн бұрын
23.5 is what I calculated. The SIRs replacing the commons add a bit of weight.

Do not buy a RT1255 thermo for a 5.0 L V8 engine, that requires RT-1251
@TheHungryMechanic5 күн бұрын
I'm pinning this cause you are absolutely right. It's kinda funny cause all I wanted was V8 when I was looking for this truck and all I could find was the dang V6 ecoboost and it's been so long I've bout forgot they even make them with a V8 lol. Kind of crazy.

I appreciate the in-depth analysis that confirms what most of us have known for a while. TPCI has done a pretty good job at making the packs consistently unweighable in the past year or two. With that said, I don't think anybody should be buying individual packs of Prismatic anyways, since it's a special set and you can't buy individual booster packs at retail. Don't give the scalpers/secondary market your money!
@TheHungryMechanic7 күн бұрын
I agree cause they will most likely be from a product that had a big hit and they stopped. The one exception I have found is some of the rip n shippers who pre open and sell them but people would have to watch a bit to see if hits are coming out.

Why doesnt TPC just fix this and make the code cards from 3 significantly different weights of paper and randomly throw them in packs...
@MaxNeumann-y6d7 сағат бұрын
What is the problem? The only weighable pack is the full god pack and the chance of getting a god pack is very low. So i don't see a problem.

god pack has all masterballs and SIr's bro.
@TheHungryMechanic10 күн бұрын
Prismatic Evolutions has God pack has 9 SIR and 1 Masterball. The SIR weigh the same as the reverse so we used them to simulate the weight. Rewatch the that section and you'll see what I mean. Thanks

Yes they are weighable anything with a single hit is 47grams and anything below has a V or nothing
@FlexyWrexy10 күн бұрын
That would the equivalent of more than 20 cards in a pack, so this is outright wrong. I weighed my master-ball pack and it was 23 grams, as was the normal poke-ball pack I got in my ETB.

check the spider might came loose , triple joint (where spider cone and coil connect ) or tinsel leads they might be hitting the cone even a mesh grill inside that is on the basket for dust protection can come loose and get stuck on coil thats how people think their sub is blown when in reality u just pull it out

Use 0.88cfu sealed and 2cfu ported bandpass box and make each sub a box so they dont interact with eachother also invert them so the motors are in ported chambers for better cooling u can add sensors as well to tell u the temperature of each sub coil so u dont accidentaly overheat them btw i have s10d and s10a single s10a in bandpass 0.66cfu and1.5cfu ported sounds stupid loud and low some think its even a 12 or dual 10

They are great old school subs. I had them in my 1987 Pontiac Sunbird Convertible in 1998. I put a punch 200(The gray with gold caps) on each one of them and with a convertible i was hitting 141.3 decibles(Which was astounding back then). I had those subwoofers for over 20 years,hell i think i might still have one in the basement lol. Lots of good memories. But as soon as the square L7s came out i switched & have been rocking those ever since. I haven't found a sub that sounds better in my opinion. Punch amp and kicker subs have always sounded best to me & everyone that gets in my cars and is impressed by my systems. You should probably find at least a cheap Taramps & put it on those subs so that you don't blow those classics by underpowering them. Make sure your oms are correct.

Kicker Solos were top of the line back in the day, very expensive SQ subs. BTW looks like your only using one channel of the amp. Bridge the amp and use the power of both channels. It will sound even better.

The "C" Series had a dust cap (the C Series weren't very reliable) and the "D" Series had the one piece cone w/ no dust cap. I had two 15" SD154s in my four door Geo metro powered by a 700w JDL amp (yes, "JDL", not JBL). That one sub is bad, nothing you can do with it... maybe just give it to someone who would just display it or who does 'repairs' as a hobby. Apiece of car audio history there.
@TheHungryMechanicАй бұрын
That's awesome. I am glad they are D series then. Unfortunate on the other one having an issue but you are right, it would make a good display for someone. I am going to see if I can work out a way to give it to someone.

If u are ever buying woofers or subs used and dont know if they work and cant test or even if they work but are damaged u can always figure it out by placing ur hand or fingers on the cone in a way where u can evenly push the cone slightly in and if u dont hear or feel and rubbing and it moves in and out smothly its fine. If its not fine u will definitely know by doing that. It will either be seized and wont move at all or it will move but u will here scratching. When its fine its silent.

them subs are the solobraic subs they are the iso model and they use a smaller then nomal sealed box but putting them in a band pass will be louder then a ported box mainly becuase these subs where desinged for a smaller enclouser

no put it to subwoofer output go into the settings look for audio look for subwoofer and turn it on and set the lpf to 80hz and if you have hpf for the doors set them to 100hz and you can incress the sub to 100 if you want to but the sub output is turn off by defult you reset the deck to defult settings for the most part when you hooked the power wire to the batter for the amp
