J' ai possédé deux coupés 504 : un V6 carbu de 77 et un 2 Litres "gros compteurs" de 1982. C'est une voiture terriblement attachante: dommage que Peugeot, contrairement aux constructeurs allemands, ne fournisse guère de pièces détachées, en particulier tout ce qui concerne la carrosserie. C' est donc un problème pour entretenir ces véhicules...

Wunderschönes Auto. Ich bin gerade dabei auch so einen 504 zu kaufen. In Holland gibt es glücklicherweise 504 coupe Spezialist.

Wunderschönes Auto! Wie ist es nach dem Halt in Saarburg weiter gegangen? Ich überlege auch, mir ein 504 (Cabrio) zuzulegen und wäre für Tipps hinsichtlich eines Kaufs in Frankreich sehr dankbar!

Dann bin ich weiter nach Berlin gefahren (verlieft problemlos), aber es zeigte sich schnell, dass die Technik komplett überarbeitet werden musste. Viele Tausend Euro sind dann in diverse Reparaturen geflossen. Wenn du immer noch überlegst, einen zu kaufen, schau doch mal bei mobile vorbei. Habe ihn gerade dort eingestellt!

Are the Cabriolet versions 2 seaters or 4 seaters? The Coupe obviously have extended rooftops so they're 4 seaters or at least 2+2, but the Cabriolet is unclear.

La nouvelle 508 a un design qui est un peu "back to the roots". Il parait que Peugeot s'est inspiré de la 504 coupé pour la dessiner. Je trouve que ca se voit.

Bertone, bon, ça fait désordre. Mais Jaeger, le type doit penser que c'est la même marque que la fabrique horlogère Jaeger Lecoultre qui se prononce à l'allemande "gégère".

Beautiful coupe. I recently imported a 1982 504 coupe to the United States from the Netherlands. My mechanic informed me that one of the rear wheel bearings needs to be changed. Would you please share the part #. I think it is SNR Y44GB.10667, but I want to confirm before I order two bearings. Thank you!

+Juan Ganum Check out this website. I've found the part number of the front wheel bearing on page 36: www.504cc.de/images/stories/Ersatzteile/PDF/Ersatzteile_86_FR_3.pdf For the rear, it should be page 22 (Train arriere). Good luck.

+The Peugeot 504 Coupé Channel. Many thanks for the quick response! That manual has a great deal of useful technical information. I think I found the correct part here: www.mister-auto.ie/en/wheel-bearing/snr-r159-13_g654_a110R159.13.html, although there appear to be two versions with slightly different widths of 34 mm and 36 mm ( www.mister-auto.ie/en/wheel-bearing/snr-r159-03_g654_a110R159.03.html).

+Juan Ganum Just snag a good used one from a 505 at a Pick N Pull,etc.......the rear(IRS 504,604,505) bearings were always engineered to be cleaned and repacked.total time to remove carrier,caliper,cleaning...........2 hours tops with lots of drinking

Bleiersatz0=Hexenspeck !! Totale Beutelschneideri. Der 504 hat Aluköpfe mit gehärteten Ventilsitzringen. Die brauchen weder Blei noch Ersatz.BTW: eins der schönsten Autos, ever !!!
