First I acknowledge that I'm not you and I'm not feeling the pain and frustration that you are. Sounds like your situation has highlighted how much you love your sister and want to protect her. It is also revealed to you that your trust in that friend was misplaced. Is likely that this pain will lead you to making choices that do serve you and your sister better. No one is condoning bad behavior. The point of the message is to say that we have such incredible power to heal that even very painful situations can be turned into opportunities if we approach it with the right mindset. Pain is very powerful teacher. We all face it in different ways and different times throughout our life. You may sting now but just don't let it keep you from finding your way back to love. Best wishes with your situation and thank you for sharing.

@@EricCoplen Eric, alright... I am in Utah, am ex-mo... unfortunately I don't have 8 wives(or fortunately) but definitely enjoy you and your interview. I have a lot of mixed feelings about mormonism, I feel a lot what could have been good aspects are presented without spirituality and are just empty dogma. I feel morality would be a lot easier to teach and also accept if you they taught people a lot of love and how much value they are just as the are. It felt like a magic 8 ball approach at times... "If you dont like this just pray about it"... "Oh you dont like the answer,... pray again!!!" I can't keep shaking the magic 8 ball until I found a convenient answer that validates an accepted mormon cliche taught as knowledge. Mormonism puts sooo much emphasis on families and marriage but can't even begin to teach basic concepts of relating and truly loving others despite taking on the name and example of the greatest teachers of loving and relating to others. Zan has a very nice approach to relating to the world around him. Letting go of expectations of others is a great way to tap into being yourself and empowering others to simply be themselves.

When I was around the age of 17 or so, I had what I can only describe, as an outer body experience. I still remember it vividly to this day. I did not meditate or do anything of a spiritual nature. Just fell asleep and went on a journey to a friends house, looking down from above. I was awoken in the early hours of the morning, from what I would describe as a sudden jolt, from what felt like myself merging back into my physical body. I have never had this happen since. Oof... so if you say everything perceived as dark or evil is just you and nothing else and cannot affect you, how can you say otherwise about anything else, good, alien, Jesus, etc.???? if it's all you, then it's ALL you, you can't have it both ways. i have yet to hear a good answer to this from anyone at this point in my life.... so if any entity whether perceived good/bad is just your mind... you are more or less defeating yourself or giving yourself a boost, aka having a positive or negative experience. therefore there is no communication with outside entities as all is inside... but then you have people sharing experiences on the other side, this is contradictory....

I was also left hanging with this response. One of my only OBE’s was spontaneously begging pulled out of my body by a dark entity that wanted to fight me. During that period in my life I had lived in a house with a dark entity present. Others in the house experienced things. How could that have been me? And now that I am long gone from that place in my life, how can my safety be assured? A serious answer by someone who has had similar experiences would be helpful
@EricCoplen
@EricCoplen 2 ай бұрын
Great question. Apologies for delayed response. This is what you call a bit of a paradox from my understanding. Whilel it's true that both you and I are one from the perspective of source or God, it is still true that you and I are individuated aspects of the whole. So, from my understanding, any entity you encounter can be an individuated aspect of the whole but in another sense your relationship with them is a reflection of your relationship with yourself. Who and what you give power to is reflection of your relationship with yourself. Simple way of thinking of it is we keep a version of everyone that we know in our minds and in that sense our friends and family only exist as aspects of ourself when you're looking at it from a point of conscious perception. That doesn't take away from the fact that they are an individuated aspect of consciousness like yourself and thus the importance of not being judgmental and being willing to adapt your perception of them according to how they truly show up or what potentials they may have that you haven't seen or realized it. You can't take it so literally to mean that everything is just you because, from the human individuated aspect of consciousness perception, that is not true. We are all like drops from the same ocean. It's unique and yet each inescapably interconnected because we are all from one thing. This is my best understanding of it I hope that helps! Thank you for the question.
@EricCoplen
@EricCoplen 2 ай бұрын
Well that sounds frightening for sure! I would look at it from this perspective. It's important to take a look at our relationships that we have in our life and notice which of those may not be supportive or conducive of our best interests. We may realize that we are attached to certain situations that don't serve us. In other words we have a level of consciousness that is playing a role and making us attractive to that particular situation or negative person for example. Where we find our power is being willing to change our relationship with ourself. So in your situation The entity may have been a reflection or made available to you or was attracted to you because of where you were emotionally and in your own consciousness. Think of it like a mirror. What we experience is like a reflection of ourselves even though what we experience are things we call separate from us like other people and external situations. The whole point of realizing that everything in a way is you to realize that you have power to change how you relate to yourself and then you will make behavioral decisions that will put you in new places and around new and different people and you will find that you may have some higher level assistance from the universe and attracting things that are in alignment with your new level of consciousness that's based in self-love. Is my best understanding of this and hope that helps! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for this conversation! Am I understanding correctly that this practice can only result in understanding or healing deeper levels of yourself? That it doesn’t have much to do with the world outside you? I’m still really confused as to what is taking place in these experiences. I heard someone say that during an o.b.e he found his dead mother and had fantastic experiences with her on the “other side”. So would it really be that what he experienced as his mother was really just an aspect of himself? And he wasn’t really over on the “other side”, that place he went was just a very realistic product of his imagination?
@spiritvizion
@spiritvizion 4 ай бұрын
I think the understanding or healing that one receives as a result from this practice depends upon how ready one is to receive the information. As far as it not having much to do with the "outside world", I think it has more to do with "unseen Universe" than the "outside world", though even that description might be a bit confusing. I believe that rather than the OBE being a very realistic product of the imagination, it is actually the opposite; that "this reality" is actually the very realistic product of the imagination and that the "true reality" is actually closer to the astral plane that we enter when having an out of body experience. About 10 years ago I had a spontaneous OBE while meditating and it was hyper-realistic...colors were more vibrant and I could feel the energy of my environment. It's hard to describe something that's almost indescribable, but I knew I was somewhere I had never been before, despite the OBE being inside of my new apartment at the time. The scenery looked very familiar, but felt completely foreign at the same time. Science has confirmed that everything is energy, and in my opinion having an OBE is really just the observation and experience of an energetic plane that is slightly different from what we experience in our "waking lives." In other words, having an OBE is like looking under the hood of a vehicle to get a better understanding of how the vehicle operates. Hope this helps some.

if the experience pool never changes, progresses, etc. we would run out. if we retained all knowledge of past experiences we would not engage in this life the same way, giving us completely different type of experiences. it is my opinion that we are meant to experience this life from a naiveté.

We are grand beings but we don't know it without self discovery and practice. We have to wake up to it and in doing so we take on lessons in life that help us evolve. I believe that what we are learning in life is power. We have to wake up to power and then make conscious decisions whether we use it to serve ourselves only or to serve the whole. This is what sets up the stage for good vs evil dynamic.

@@rayuvlight4 I beg to differ. What about knowing yourself? Subjectivity and objectivity are two sides of the same coin and equally as valid and important objectivity is just group subjectivity. Since we are all part of the same universe then there isn't any one of us who can take credit for it not even God as we are all part of God as well and God would not exist without us as we are the infinite number of finite units that God consists of as an infinite Unity which would find it impossible to know an infinite Multiplicity no matter how big or how old God might be God still can't do the impossible which is be an infinite multiplicity without becoming that. That is the very way God learns. To be all knowing God must have learned everything and that is another rule of reality that cannot be broken. Yes how can everything be created unless God knew what it was? That's where we come in. We are the way God matches one-to-one to an infinite number of things when God itself is a Unity. Since God is an infinite Unity God can divide itself into an infinite number of finite units. To put it mildly this was one hell of a shock to me and I did not understand how my mother could be in 2 places at the same time. And why the upright mother was all white? Why re-invent the wheel? A preserved text from 8th century BC states how to leave the body. It worked for me. I discovered the method before finding the text that confirmed what the reason for my experience was. It does take some considerable will power to last 5 days of this practice, although the first 3 is the hardest. Earlier humans had much better chances of experiencing it due to natural seasonal cycles and lack of modern methods of preservation and supplies full year round. Genetic lineage, forced selection and egoic arrogance lead to the veil being strong. If you identify yourself with your body, congratulations., You've accoplished what you manifested into your experience.. Total forgetfulness, pride and delusion. When you're done with your experiment, you'll find your way back, one way or another. Otherwise, you'll reincarnate back for more.

Loved the podcast Eric, was informative and interesting. Got a good chuckle out of the walk into a bar and Jesus, Ghandi, buddha and Mother Theresa are all there, what do they say about AI.

Thanks for the video! I would appreciate if the host would claim less talking time, prepare better and stumble less and really let the guest talk as it is supposed to be. Also, I‘d love Zan to expand on the current Zeitgeist of gender war and toxic dating and relationship debate, that reached a new climax with the evolution of T*te on social media.

Interviewer is talking too much about himself and his views, etc. Focus on your guest.
